Mars Orbiter Helps Scientists “Follow the Water”
NASA,MRO,Mars
Five years ago, NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter was launched in search of evidence that water persisted on the surface of Mars over a prolonged period of time. Previous Mars missions indicated that, at some point in the Red Planet’s history, water flowed across its surface. Throughout the years, MRO has continued to analyze minerals, look for water, trace the distribution of dust in the atmosphere and monitor Martian weather.

Because Mars has less water than Earth, its available surface for exploration is comparable to that of Earth.
google earth can suck it
amazing
The surface fly-by animation is fantastic… I wonder what kind of data they’re using to put something like that together…
@erichathy222 There is no god. God is an imaginary being.
@theshadowify Then who made this universe??
@MyGamerTV Why do you think that someone had to make it?
arguing for religion is pretty stupid… lololol
@theshadowify How can everything be created by it self?
@MyGamerTV Just because you do not understand how something was made, does not mean that a god made it. There was a time they did not know how lightning and thunder was created so they came up with Zeus god of lightning thunder and rain. We now exactly how it is made. We now know that the universe was made from the big bang. We just dont know what triggered it. We do know how the Earth and Mars were made.
@theshadowify You just said that by yourself “We now know that the universe was made from the big bang. We just dont know what triggered it” We admit that God triggered it. Where and how first ever human was made? and Its not just about Mars and Earth as you know there are trillions of stars and other galaxies which we can not even see. Anyways I don’t want to argue about that.
Where oh where did you read into that? I never said we admit that god made the universe. In fact I said quite the oppisite. I said it is an UNKOWN what triggered the big bang. There are many theories about it. Someday they will have it all explained. Until then, we have to accept what they have learned so far.
The poetry of science is awesome. But, will you theologians stop peddling your imaginary friend on science sites?
Cool graphics. Povray?
@Stormdude100 I know everything about string theories. I don’t want to argue with you about that.
