NASA Mission to Jupiter Ready for Launch
NASA,Juno
NASA’s Juno spacecraft is ready for launch. The solar-powered spacecraft will arrive at Jupiter in July 2016 and orbit its poles 33 times to find out more about the gas giant’s interior, atmosphere and aurora. Juno is currently scheduled to launch from the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station on August 5 at 11:39 am Eastern.

I hope the mission is more successful than this video.… A very poor quality video.
this is not an audio fail, is just that in space you cant hear cuz there is no air
In space, no one can hear NASA.….
@haqlges But there’s no audio even when it’s launching.
I can’t believe it’s going to be that quiet.
The guy who edited this vid works for NASA?
Can someone explain why Juno can’t go in a straight line to Jupiter
@MultiChrisjb In space no-one can hear that guys editing technique lol
@rg6ivan it will crash lol
@rg6ivan To save fuel/money. It would be possible to make a rocket that would give the probe enough speed to get there fast, but economically it is not so smart. Using gravity to sling it to Jupiter makes this mission a lot cheaper, even if it takes a longer time. It is a robotic probe, so spending 5 years to travel there doesn’t matter.
Ok, guys relax. This is just an example of what yo will hear and see when Juno gets to Jupiter. (Silence) The aliens, will not let us return images of their hidden bases.
@eah2119 ikr
@Westernwayofwar A “Bad omen” ??? … because of a messed up video posting??? lol Then judging by that old saying, “What you don’t know can’t hurt you,” I guess that practically makes you invulnerable eh? :p “Bad Omen” … heheheh okaaaay riiiiight.
Will we be able to see the flyby in September 2013? 😛
I hope we get to see the Jovian whales and the hunters.
You could try setting this to the theme from 2001. I’m just suggesting.
very poor editing
is it me or does that look like it collides directly with the planet..
if it only didn’t take that long to get there.
Sound please.
es una gran mision de exploracion
Please re edits this video. Remove the black frames and swap the audio channel left or right, or just convert the audio channel as a mono audio channel.
Its not that they had audio fails, its that NASA is preventing us from hearing the real story of what we’re going there, *cough* “TMA‑1 *cough*
@2012TheAndromeda Because of the time and reserve of fuel it would require. Its more easier to escape the suns gravity by sling shooting it rather than just flying away from earth gravity, the suns gravity just to get to Jupiter. By using earths gravity to launch us further and faster without burning too much fuel, we can make much more better time on our instruments while orbiting Jupiter and observing its features, but a very interesting question for you to bring up. 😀
This is a good example why you shouldn’t upgrade to Final Cut Pro X
There is probably, simply no audio created (which is generally normal) for an animation like this, people! There’s no need for audio on the demonstration animation.
@rhcpconor he may need a tight *bitch* slap to get his nuts & bolts tightened..
@cineguy888 yeah! we want Star trek theme music!!!!
FUCK NASA TELL THE TRUTH TO THE HUMAN RACE YOU LYING PIECE OF SHITS.
FUCK NASA.
Poor folks could have been living a little higher on the hog slop
