FIRST yeeeeeee buddy. Awesome review. As always.
i like the Verge’s Reviews but the Video Reviews are kind of rough to listen to because you all seem to be real long winded talkers and subject matters kind of get meshed together without that pause that says “okay so moving on” i’m sorry but it’s kind of annoying. xD
I find it hilarious that they are still using HC. It seems to me like ICS is as difficult to update to when coming from HC as opposed to a GB device. And with JB around the corner, who knows, maybe we’ll have a Droid Charge disaster all over again.
If this ran stock ICS, it’d be the best tablet on the market thanks to that Super AMOLED… it’s unfortunate.
I guess dislikes come from people failing to realize that iPad is the best tablet combining both software and hardware. I’m an Android user, but there is just no way around it.
That lag when you switch orientation would drive me CRAZY.
Great review, BAD choice for a tablet. It seems they want it FAILED. $699 for 7″ when top selling IPad is available for $499 and that is for 10.1″? I don’t think SAMSUNG is serious about this release might be they are already working on a new iteration of this.
What do you use for your pans? Is this all the pico dolly? Also, what lens are you guys rocking?
Yeah. Horribly overpriced. I think it’s the SAMOLED+ HD screen. Probably much more expensive to make than the SAMOLED non+ HD screens you see on the Galaxy Nexus and Galaxy Note.
This with ICS would probably be 10x better
I picked up the 16gb wifi on in Australia for ~$450 aud… so it wasnt that expensive
Yeah, that’s the WiFi only version. Here it’s probably a little more than what you paid for it, but this Verizon version is ridiculously overpriced.
the new ipad is fine and all, but after trying it a bit in store it gets really hot by tablet standerds, and it felt thicker then my ipad 2. i got this 7.7 now, and its realøy much more portable then my ipad, and that is what i wanted. the only downside going from my ipad to this is really the cases and other things you can buy for them, the ipad gpt tons of that stuff, while the samsung dose not. when ICS is out for this i bet its really going to run awsomly
as of aug 2012, this galaxy tab 7.7 is selling for 399.00 non contract price, atleast at my local verizon retail. as for this tablet lagging on honeycomb, this tablet rocks with ics.
Wait! There are thinner tablets than the iPad mini? That’s pretty cool!
