gov­ern­ment con­tracts — the best mon­ey ^_^

Born 78′ and grew up lov­ing the shut­tle. My favorite trans­former was even the shut­tle. It’s nice to see that we now have a poten­tial­ly reli­able craft for our space mis­sions. I’m sure much more test­ing and adjust­ments will be done but I’m very hap­py for such a sucuss­ful mission.

The best mon­ey spent. Com­pet­i­tive and efficient.
Gov­ern­ment spend­ing bud­get on itself is like stu­dents grad­ing their own homework.

You do real­ize that it’s GOVERNMENT MONEY that fund­ed SpaceX, right?

It’s GOVERNMENT MONEY that fund­ed NASA and laid the ground for skit­tish busi­ness peo­ple to enter and reap the ben­e­fits of the tax­pay­ers ear­li­er funding?

It’s GOVERNMENT MONEY that bring com­put­ers into being so that pri­vate cit­i­zens can reap the ben­e­fits from their FELLOW CITIZEN’S tax dollars!
The anti-gov­ern­ment mind­set is of those who are brain dead.

You mean *our mon­ey* right? “Gov­ern­ment” does­n’t have any mon­ey of it’s own.
Nobody said there was­n’t a role for gov­ern­ment. You’re just rude & self-gratifying.

The con­cept of con­tract super­sedes that of gov­ern­ment of any kind.
Gov­ern­ment works best at spend­ing *our mon­ey* by doing it’s job: pro­vid­ing a safe har­bor for con­tract exe­cu­tion and remedy.

This is a good mod­el: prop­er con­tract require­ments and over­sight bring­ing best val­ue for our $.

SpaceX will make space cheap­er, allow­ing for more mis­sions to be set up.
