ISS Crew “Meets” with Philadel­phia Area Students

Expe­di­tion 31 Flight Engi­neers Don Pet­tit and Joe Aca­ba of NASA and Andre Kuipers of the Euro­pean Space Agency dis­cussed life and research aboard the Inter­na­tion­al Space Sta­tion dur­ing an edu­ca­tion­al in-flight event with Philadel­phia stu­dents attend­ing a “Des­ti­na­tion Imag­i­na­tion” event on June 26. Pet­tit and Kuipers are sched­uled to land in their Soyuz space­craft on July 1 after 6 ∏ months in orbit. Aca­ba will remain aboard the sta­tion until mid-September.
