Expedition 31 Flight Engineers Don Pettit and Joe Acaba of NASA and Andre Kuipers of the European Space Agency discussed life and research aboard the International Space Station during a pair of in-flight interviews June 28 with Eric Berger, science correspondent for the Houston Chronicle, and National Public Radio’s “Science Friday” program. Pettit and Kuipers are scheduled to land in their Soyuz spacecraft on July 1 after 6 1/2 months in orbit. Acaba will remain aboard the station until mid-September.
