For it’s primary propulsion once in orbit, does the Soyuz use an electrothermal engine like many Russian satellites, or is it equipped with a conventional fuel and oxidizer engine like all other manned craft?

Kapsuła mogłaby mieć rozkładane skrzydła i stać się rodzajem szybowca podczas lądowania. Dzięki temu ten etap nie byłby aż tak krytyczny. Dlaczego by tego nie zrobić? Kompozytowe, lekkie, wytrzymałe skrzydła plus lekko zmodyfikować kształt kapsuły i lądowanie byłoby lepsze niż w wahadłowcu.
