Numbers! Numbers! Numbers! We had a great, wholly different 90 Seconds on The Verge today, but at the eleventh hour — or if you want to be more literal, the fifth hour post meridiem) — every tech company decided to announce its quarterly earnings. Some were good, some were bad. Some were second fiscal quarter, some were fourth — everyone has their own special calendar. Thankfully we have renowned numerologist Joshua Topolsky to walk us through it all. More from The Verge:

how can stronauts smell space? is not like you can take your helmet off and last time i check space is a empty vacuum
I think the background was green screened.
Wow I didn’t think they could get better after Nilay’s rant yesterday, but this was pretty good. Love the TLC reference.
TLC references, really Josh? lol
Should a been “chasing waterfalls: how fast is too fast?”
don’t go chasing waterfalls josh. just stick to the rivers and the lakes that you’re used to.
Verge, thank you for these 90 sec short but very informative videos! Keep doing it! 🙂
@juanfdo82465 no space is not empty vacuum, rather fabric like. Even if the space suddenly empted every atoms, planets, stars, elements, and what not, its still not empty.
R.i.p Left-Eye

$500 for Yahoo as the whY company.
It’s called layering. It’s effective when you live in a cold-ass city like NY.
