Does­n’t every­one know a new Xbox is com­ing out eventually.

I think MS is real­ly tak­ing a step for­ward, and they are coat­ing it nice­ly with a per­fect new User Inter­face. I LOVE the metro inter­face, it is so clean and not dis­tract­ing at all. But I real­ly fear it is just not good what they are doing with Win­dows 8 on PC, it feels like they are lim­it­ing the fea­tures, and that is not the right way for PC IMHO.

Well, if it was just a soft­ware update, he would have said new xbox soft­ware or new update for the xbox. Not “New Xbox”. I don’t think it is com­ing out this year. Maybe ear­ly next year or some­time next year. Or maybe even the year after that, but I think they should announce it ear­ly next year, and release it in the fall.

I think he is most like­ly refer­ring to the next dash­board. Because the next DB is sched­uled to come out around the same time as Win­dows 8. And due to IE being on the fall DB it is more than like­ly to see Skype and Out­look inte­gra­tion. Because if you recall the month the cur­rent DB came out, they con­firmed skype was com­ing out.

I sure hope the new Xbox has much more exclu­sives this time around. Microsofts con­sole was the worst this gen. And last gen.

I heard a whole lot of “we (MS) are con­sol­i­dat­ing and strength­en­ing our pri­ma­ry mail ser­vice, out­look. Also we would like to start mar­ket­ing it like what apple and google/chrome have and join the inter­con­nect­ed envi­ron­ment com­put­ing age. We’ve caught up but now have a more refined indi­vid­ual pro­ductd, name­ly email since it’s the pri­ma­ry mode of elec­tron­ic communication.

Re you sure he dis­’nt mean the ” New Xbox expe­ri­ence” with Inter­net explor­er and oth­er kinect shit?

The biggest news ( besides this extra-non-rel­e­vant con­sumers infor­ma­tion ) is the fact, that we´re run­ning out of ice glob­al­ly. So who cares about more inter­ac­tive pix­els on a tv screen ?
