Expedition 33/34 Soyuz Commander Oleg Novitskiy and Flight Engineer Evgeny Tarelkin of the Russian Fedearl Space Agency and NASA Flight Engineer Kevin Ford conducted qualification training at the Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center in Star City, Russia, Sept. 20 and 21 in advance of their final approval for launch to the International Space Station. Novitskiy, Ford and Tarelkin are scheduled to fly to the launch site at the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan Oct. 2 to prepare for their Oct. 15 liftoff in the Soyuz TMA-06M spacecraft. Also featured in the footage are backup crew members Pavel Vinogradov, Alexander Misurkin and NASA’s Chris Cassidy.

How? Wow they would’ve done a background check before they let him through astronaut training. Don’t be so ignorant.
they are the emergency they’ll encounter during their simulation..there are 6 sets of emergency (6 papers) and they do not know what the emergency will be..they will be tested if they really are prepared
I wish I had a time machine, to show the 50„,80s Americans Cyrillic letters in the name tag and Russian voices and watch them freak out guessing why.
They should have channeled audio from journalists into the headphones. These teeny-tiny PR things that the Russians never care about.
