IE users have been using a broken internet for ages and they don’t care. If they cared, they wouldn’t be using IE.
LoL it may suck by 2034 standards but it’s the best map service ever seen so far on Earth, where we live (I don’t know where or when you are from).
WebGL on 4 times the resolution of the screen you are using, and on a laptop lags a bit when doing really complex stuff? Let’s moan about it!
really like the fact that they made it cleaner, change to vector base, and integrated everything.
Apple Maps Anyone ? #LOL … Flyover this Apple
scumbag
and its mean not for low end netbooks!
0:44 THE FUTURE
everybody knows your location
How else will the paparazzi find you and make millions from selling your photos? /s
Check out Rome in 3D on Google Maps. Same problems as Apple Maps. ‘Collapsed’ bridges, weird building structures.
which is the model of this pc???
just being on the interent gives them your location. you’d have to go all Unibomber cabin living to avoid internet companies knowing about you.
Oh my
Chrome pixel
I really like the improvements they made in Maps, they’re amazing. Oh, and he’s using a Chromebook Pixel for anyone who didn’t know.
Chrome pixel
Chromebook Pixel
And your map service is superior
Google had the 3D maps down before Apple maps was even conceived.
Maps with touchscreen=awesomeness
all of this is nice and all that but the problem is, they don’t let the rest of the world have the same features. us people in the third world do not get to do most of what you jsut talked about.
I’ve got an ivitation today, but the search doesn’t work at all, and most 3dimensional objects wich I could view on the old maps don’t work 🙁
Meanwhile at Apple maps
well… it lags a lot and webgl always crashes
Works great on my relatively mediocre performance laptop
Not. The preview is amazingly sluggish. Too much WebGL apparently. Or if it’s just my computer, I really want to see the performance on some ARM-crippled Windows tablet…
