Skull Can­dy actu­al­ly does a sol­id job of enhanc­ing the tone for their head­phones. I pre­fer them to just about any of the high dol­lar name head­phones. I bought sev­er­al Skull Can­dy UpRocks for under $ 20 and while the prod­uct is plas­tic & cheap feel­ing, they still are com­fort­able. the sound that comes thru the head­set & even their ear­buds is quite good. There’s anoth­er brand of ear buds that also are a fan­tas­tic val­ue, “Ear Pol­lu­tion”. The upside to the plas­tic or even anodized body ear buds/headphones for under $ 20, they’re light­weight and that they don’t feel like you been wear­ing them for a long time for those longer ses­sions of music lis­ten­ing. You don’t have to drop Benjamin(s) to get phe­nom­e­nal sound qual­i­ty. Head­phones real­ly are ultra-low pow­er, oth­er­wise you’ll be dam­ag­ing your ear drums & any­thing that has to do with hearing.
