Welcome to my New Nexus 7 vs iPad Mini comparison video. In this versus video, my aim was to identify the key differences between the 2013 Nexus 7 and the aging first generation iPad Mini. Please keep in mind, the iPad Mini has been on the market much longer than the newly launched Nexus, therefore it’s at a significant disadvantage from a raw specification standpoint. Okay review but you negated some crucial comparison points. I own both of these devices and in terms of the quality of their builds, apple wins. As far as customer service goes, expect nothing but the worst from Asus (ask any forum). In terms of apps, apple wins again (still can’t get risk on android). When comparing OS’s, its all preference. As much as I love the ‘bang for buck philosophy’ Google abides by, just spend the extra money and get an iPad, you wont be disappointed.
Simple as this: If you want a (what they consider) “high quality” (its no higher than the nexus) basic, simple, expensive , that you’re only getting because its popular, long lasting, did i mention more expensive, tablet, buy the damn ipad mini. If you like customizable, smaller, less expensive, but not that much cheaper in quality because they feel like they’re made of the same damn thing when you get the package, different, you’re only buying it because you want to be different/ rebellious against Apple’s domination and false sense of elite and superiority , buy the nexus. Either way, you will be satisfied and you’re going to use it because you paid for it.
