You don’t get it do you? Snow­den is a true patri­ot. He gave up every­thing for the sake of his coun­try. To be a patri­ot means to love one’s coun­try. A coun­try isn’t it’s government.

Anoth­er exam­ple of this is he announced it to The Guardian, a British paper and also revealed to them that there were many exam­ples of a breach of peo­ples’ rights across the world, such as the GCHQ here in the UK.

Looks at the poli­cies he sup­ports and you will see that he is a socialist.

Very nar­cis­sis­tic atti­tude, so are you say­ing he did it just for Amer­i­ca? The US tends to see every­thing as such, because it thinks it is so damn right­eous. Hence the obses­sion with patri­o­tism, which is so archa­ic a prin­ci­ple. There was no one set of peo­ple he did this for, he did it for every­one wronged, of which there were many, far beyond the bor­ders of the Unit­ed States.

I don’t see any men­tion of him regard­ing his actions as sole­ly for the Amer­i­can people?
