I mean I thought episode one was shit

If you read the books then you’d know what will hap­pen in 7.8. and 9. Let me sum it up to you; 7: Luke has yet to reform the jedi order but in upstart­ing he finds him­self turn­ing to the dark­side for a while then return­ing to his old ways. 8: Luke and Laya reform the order of the jedi but instead of a monk style any­one can become one but not every­one is born with force pow­ers the ref­or­ma­tion leads to tur­moil. 9: Both of their kids gain pres­i­dence over the new order and they sus­tain a long rule.

Trust me I was quite lit­er­al­ly raised in Dis­ney been to every park on the week ends from what I’ve seen grow­ing up how Dis­ney did star wars relat­ed things before these movies ill be amazing. 

Those are just fan books. They are com­plete­ly irrelevant.
