The software is probably not final…
AHAHAHAHHA… ok defender.
THEY COPYCATED HTC’s BLINKFEED… JESUS CHRIST
2:46 — You know your combining a digitizer pen + a 10 inch tablet. Its like getting a iPad with a stylus. Are you blind!?
Ugh. Whatever samsung. This still isnt a finished product like the phones. Im tired of waiting for the perfect android tablet.
IPad was upside down
Ok, the magazine feature powered by flipboard is slow, but what about the rest?
the number of pixels was actually quadrupled.
The number of pixels is four times more than the last Note 10.1 version. 1280x800=1 Megapixel / 2560x1600=4 megapixels
This would be the the tablet to beat if it were running stock android and not tainted by the foul stench of touchwiz.
Im in the market for a10 inch tablet and I had high hopes for this but Samsung seems to be still making slower tablets. Its hard to understand when they can do so well with phones (I have an s3). I would go with iPad but that don’t have widgets or swift key. So I guess I’ll hope the new nexus 10 will be what I’m looking for.
A QUESTIONABLE PERFORMANCE???????????
The reviewer is an idiot
it has a camera flash ? cool
Writing on paper still feels like it’s for writing.….
Someone should make a transparent screen which we can keep on top of the display, so, that it feels a lot likes paper. Who knows, maybe it could be an accessory which adds stylus functionality to your device.…
I disagree with the Verge about the lagging for Note 10.1 2014 edition. I bought one 3 days ago. The touch-responsiveness is really fast, even with the Power-saving Mode on.
About the magazine widget lagging, this is what happens when you load up a number of high resolution photos.
The only problem with the Touchwiz on this edition for me was that it sucks up a lot of memory; without any app opened it already used 1.4GB of RAM. Maybe that’s why Samsung threw in 3GB RAM, instead of 2.
I highly doubt that this reviewer guy tested the note more than 1 hours. If so, he would not have said that it was lagging, apart from the magazine widget which is NORMAL because it’s loading up 3~4 very high resolution photos at each screen.
Fuck apple this is 4–6 times the cpu power of an ipad!
Nice review all this talk of power that still can’t get out of touchwiz. All that lag right on the review is obvious, $549 for and SPen, that’s it give me the nexus 10 or or the iPad Air.
this lag is killing me
It’s four times the pixels. L2Math
this video needs a lotta dislikes people
The lag is a software issue that samsung can fix, or already have.
I think It’s very good tablet and matches my needs .beautiful spen multitasking high resolution screen just a brain device that I know how to use perfectly .ur review sucks.
I plan to get one soon isa
I would suggest the tetra note 7 because it’s faster smaller and lighter. It also has a tegra processor for gaming it also has a digitizer stylus and 5mp on back
Or the HP 7 extreme with same specs just a lower screen resolution.
Both for 200 dollars
Or the galaxy note 8.0
It seems they added more horsepower for better note taking
