By all accounts, the Nexus 5 is the farthest leap forward of any Nexus to date. Features like the much-needed LTE connectivity, a snappy quad-core CPU, and the 4.95-inch, 1080p display put the the Nexus 5 on roughly the same playing field as today’s top-tier flagships, but is that where the similarities end? Join Joshua Topolsky for a hands-on review of the Nexus 5 to find out, and be sure to read the full review at the link below:

NICE REVIEWWW !!!!!!!! 🙂 =D
Ordered mine last week from Google Play, can’t wait to get my hands on it! 😀
Josh T. Research is your friend, the camera isnt great true actually most of what you said was great expect when as others have stated you threw in a Retina screen with AMOLED and LCD.
The iPhone 5s has inferior specs and a commercialized closed source operating system that makes want to hit something, literally the only good thing about is its display and its screen
im watching this review on my nexus 5. It’s official, im a nerd
Il miglior telefono in circolazione peccato non si possa comperare nelle grandi catene
What is ram?
Only reason I couldn’t buy this phone was because of the camera.. Got a note 3 instead and I am very happy with it!
Did I just see a lag?? 03:58
.…why didn’t he talk about the price?
So much waaaaant… I wish I didn’t have to wait another month to save up enough, but hopefully time will pass quickly.
COD:GHOSTS FTW 🙂
Some of these comments are ridiculously stupid.
Nice video man I just made a review on the phone, would be awesome if I could hear what you guys think about my videos?:D Cheers!
The Verge in french means, what’s is on the top of the penis
this guy is a moron the nexus 5 was made to target people like me, who dont really use the speakers or camera but want high end specs at low price
his voices cracks alot
This is one of the best reviews I have seen, thank you so much, helps me take a decision!
In the Netherlands the lg g2 is cheaper than the nexus. Which one should I get??
So much better than the first hands on look with this device by dieter bohn. This guy is balanced and fair, not something that I can say about bohn.
battery life sucks, 4 hours or less browsing time
Getting mines on Saturday butshould I get the Nexus 5 Or Moto G?
It is one of the best phones at the price point which it stands. 350 dollars, unlocked and from manufacturer is absurd.
May I remind you that this 2013 PHONE HAS DOUBLE THE RAM OF THE IPHONE 6!
I don’t want a phone that screams.
So glad I run adblocker on iVerge videos
Little late on this one however. Price. Price. Price. Huge difference
7:44 — I love how people criticised the N5 because of it’s not-so-flash specs, but now that Google’s upped all the specs considerably with the N6, the same people are complaining about the price. You can’t make such a great phone and still sell it for $400. And even with all that, it’s still $100-$200 cheaper than a lot of other flagships out there now, including the iPhone 6.
The last inexpensive Nexus. Oh well. My Nexus 5 is gonna be a extinct mythical beast in a few years :’(
I miss Josh. A true unbiased reviewer
Should I get the Nexus 5 or the iPhone 6?
Where can you get this phone now knowing that it’s not available in the google playstore can someone please reply back asap
It’s funny watching this and hearing Josh say the Nexus 5 feels pretty big and you need to have big hands… 5″ is considered tiny by today’s standards.
is miss josh
I’m really excited for that “Hangouts” feature
Still rocks today!!! Wish I had mine
When will Google release Android 12 for this phone? I want Material You.
Amogus
Nostalgia ❤
From a 2023 perspective, it’s hilarious listening to him talk about how big the phone is. It’s just a little guy by today’s standards.
