Aboard the Inter­na­tion­al Space Sta­tion, Expe­di­tion 38 Flight Engi­neer Michael Hop­kins and Rick Mas­trac­chio of NASA dis­cussed life and research aboard the orbital lab­o­ra­to­ry with WCIA-TV in Cham­paign, IL dur­ing an in-flight inter­view Nov. 12. Hop­kins, who grad­u­at­ed from the Uni­ver­si­ty of Illi­nois in Cham­paign in 1991, was a cap­tain on the Fight­ing Illi­ni Foot­ball Team. He arrived on the sta­tion in Sep­tem­ber for the start of a five and a half month mission.
