A NASA Tele­vi­sion news con­fer­ence from Kennedy Space Cen­ter’s Press Site was held to learn about Amer­i­ca’s space pro­gram and the upcom­ing launch of NASA’s Mars Atmos­phere and Volatile Evo­lu­tioN (MAVEN) from Kennedy Space Cen­ter in Flori­da. Par­tic­i­pants heard first-hand accounts of the mis­sion devel­op­ment and research goals from the MAVEN sci­ence and engi­neer­ing teams from NASA Kennedy, God­dard and oth­er organizations.
