Tamagotchi was never gone, the difference this time is that there’s a marketing campaign. There’s been new models released over the last decade, even as recently as around 2011.

He makes it sound like Tamagotchi’s died a long time ago. They never really stop making them as they came out with newer versions. The Tamagotchi’s have always had the black and “white” LCD display (at least in the U.S.), so it’s not really “retro.” I hope Tamagotchi does not become a new trend that some people have not known about until it starts; that would make me mad, lol. Sorry for this small tirade; it happened to me before when the people who used to find it weird that I like Power Rangers, suddenly liked it because a trend started. ‑_- I hope some of you know how I feel. lol. Again, sorry for that brief rant. Happy Holidays! =)
