that was awesome
45 degrees of visiblity… This won’t stand a chance against the Oculus Rift.
…45 degrees of visibility. Like they say, it’s a screen strapped to your face. The oculus rift puts you in the game.
Looks promising, but the FOV needs to improve drastically.
That’s quite an elegant design
If they can create a design with a slimmer profile then yes.…but right now thos look as heavy and uncomfortable as sonys 3d headset
Well I would buy one
I was interested until they said it doesn’t fill up your whole field of vision. I don’t want to see a text message on my phone, I want full immersion.
HOW MUCH DOES THIS COST? I WANT IT NOW!!
Snow Crash.
Dude! Awesome.
if i am going to put on vr headset i don’t want to see my hands
Not sure if they just can’t get a bigger fov so settled on this and used it for them as a unique selling point … Looks good though if it doesn’t cause strain
1:47 Is he crying??
Great, now there’s an entertaining distraction for while you’re being mugged… because you were using the entertaining distraction.
This is great grandson of what Doc was wearing during the opening of Back to the Future part 2 !
I want an actual, life sized lobster to seat me at the restaurant. Put cameras into these “retinal displays” then overlay the virtual data onto the camera footage. Augmented reality is going to be cool…
Someone needs to buy Oculus and Avegant and merge the technologies into one product.
So, what’s the next step? Projecting the pictures directly to your brain?
Will they use it in public: YES! I WILL! 😀
question is does it uses the phones battery or does it have battery of it own, say u on a plane or bus and want to watch a movie, a phone most likely would not have the battery to power those glasses though a 1.5 — 2 hour mive
Is this Virtual Boy 2.0?
What’s the game he is playing?
when i donte i will get 1 for test???
Dunno how I feel about being able to see my hands/the keyboard…but if it’s not intruding on the experience, then I guess it’d be okay
Napoleon Dynamite?
woah
1:03, “hold on, I forgot to put in the crystals..”
Personally, I want a model that is completely immersive. I would shell out 500$ for the Glyph. It looks better than the Rift for sure!!!
Dude I’m ready. I’ll wear this everywhere.
1:48 the guy is crying.….…avagant is hurting his eye.….…
With a little work, this would be perfect for AR.
