Aboard the Inter­na­tion­al Space Sta­tion, Expe­di­tion 38 Flight Engi­neers Michael Hop­kins and Rick Mas­trac­chio of NASA field­ed ques­tions from the Hous­ton Chron­i­cle and Sir­ius XM Radio about life and research on the orbital lab­o­ra­to­ry dur­ing a pair of in-flight inter­views Jan. 16. Hop­kins, who has been aboard the sta­tion since Sep­tem­ber, is sched­uled to return to Earth in a Russ­ian Soyuz space­craft in mid-March, while Mas­trac­chio, who has been in orbit on the com­plex since Novem­ber, will return home two months lat­er in a sep­a­rate Soyuz vehicle.
