At the Baikonur Cos­mod­rome in Kaza­khstan, Expe­di­tion 40/41 Soyuz Com­man­der Max Suraev of the Russ­ian Fed­er­al Space Agency (Roscos­mos), NASA Flight Engi­neer Reid Wise­man and Flight Engi­neer Alexan­der Gerst of the Euro­pean Space Agency and their back­ups, Anton Shkaplerov of Roscos­mos, Ter­ry Virts of NASA and Saman­tha Cristo­fore­t­ti of the Euro­pean Space Agency par­tic­i­pat­ed in a vari­ety of activ­i­ties from May 15–22 as they pre­pared for the launch of Suraev, Wise­man and Gerst to the Inter­na­tion­al Space Sta­tion on May 29, Kaza­kh time, in the Soyuz TMA-13M space­craft. The footage includes the crew’s arrival in Baikonur, a dress rehearsal fit check in their Soyuz space­craft and oth­er crew-relat­ed activities.
