Aboard the International Space Station, Expedition 40 Flight Engineer Reid Wiseman of NASA talked about his mission on the orbital laboratory with WJLA-TV in Washington during an in-flight interview Aug. 11. Wiseman is a native of Baltimore, Maryland.

So threw the process of watch ing cristalization you can see how they form so in the near future people can make materials stronger than possibly dimond in a percisce way to form to different shapes sizes and densitys even to better protect the iss from metor showers and military vehicles down of earth without all the weight

Can any one tell me what they mean when they launch and they say… throttling back to 72 percent of rate of performance in the bucket, reducing stress on the shuttle as it goes transonic.…what does down in the bucket mean when they throttle back???
It seems like these astronauts from different nations are so happy together up there, while back on earth is a turning chaos.
