Samsung Galaxy Note 4: Multitasking

i am switch­ing from iphone 5 to note 4 (because the of the weak­er mate­r­i­al and not a giant upgrade as usu­al) the last android phone i had was a sony xpe­ria play can any­one tell me kind of jump i would expect going to note 4? and if it slows down over time like my xpe­ria play did?

The ONLY damn phone on the mar­ket that TRULY goes above and beyond to use every inch of the large Super AMOLED 2K dis­play! For­get the iPhone Plus crap, just spac­ing out icons does­n’t even deserve to be men­tioned here, but even most oth­er Android phablets add just a lit­tle rudi­men­ta­ry “big screen func­tion­al­i­ty” fea­tures. Seems like LG is the one that slight­ly comes close. This shit is true INNOVATION, man­ag­ing to have basi­cal­ly full PC like fea­tures and capa­bil­i­ties that not only runs the apps with shear pro­cess­ing pow­er, but also allow­ing the user to inter­act with the UI in as effi­cient a way as work­ing on a desk­top. That should be the mot­to of Galaxy Note: Get Things, Done.
Oh, and by the way, you think Android devices are only about specs, think again.

I’m not going to get into the apple /android flame war, get what suits you. I think we can all agree this phone spares noth­ing in the spec depart­ment. It’s fast and and beau­ti­ful. There is a rea­son the note series inpired apple to come off their hard stance on large screens.. It’s a amaz­ing device. 

I just wish the phone did­n’t look so plain and rec­tan­gu­lar. Makes it look cheap.

Can­the stock mes­sen­ger app be used in mul­ti­task­ing or only hangoutsa?

can I open 2 win­dows of brows­er in mul­ti-task­ing? i.e i want to open 2 dif­fer­ent sites 

Is there any lag with the multitask?

You missed how you can just drag from recent win­dow to make it a pop-up win­dow.
Also, you for­got to men­tion the pop-up Video play­er etc.

I’m a fan of iPhone but for the mul­ti window/multitasking busi­ness, the Note series are he neat­est. Hands down. Sam­my boy knows best to make use of a large screen device bet­ter than any­one else, includ­ing apple.

Should i get the note 4 or the iphone 6 ? and they are both the same price where i live too

Mul­ti­task­ing has been around before the Note series. YOU CAN HAVE THIS ON ANY ANDROID DEVICE! The play store has apps that inspired Sam­sung to add it to their soft­ware. Check out apps like Mul­ti­task­ing, g play­er and side­bar. They are free and give you the abil­i­ty to have pow­er­ful mul­ti­task­ing on any phone. The pro ver­sions of those apps are even bet­ter. Float­ing apps is anoth­er good one. You do not have to pay $800 just to have mul­ti win­dow soft­ware on your phone. 

i dont like that when you make the youtube app into a float­ing cir­cle, it auto­mat­i­cal­ly stops the video that’s cur­rent­ly play­ing. Is there a way to keep it con­tin­u­ing play­ing the video once it is the small cir­cle? hope that makes sense

is thia the 8 core exynos or the quad core Qual­com ver­sion of this phone?

the trou­ble I am hav­ing is that out of nowhere one day Youtube became a direct App on my phone, even if i open chrome and type http://www.youtube.com in the address bar it pops up a noti­fi­ca­tion EVERY time (which is extreme­ly annoy­ing as well and i don’t know how to get rid of it) stat­ing that I am open­ing YouTube as an app. okay so once im using it i can­not access mul­ti-win­dow which #1, I would very much like to be able to watch/listen to a YouTube video AND be writ­ing some­thing for exam­ple using Han­com Word, and #2, when i do try top open mul­ti — win­dow by hold­ing the GO BACK arrow bot­tom right of my phone, noth­ing opens up no mat­ter how long i stay hold­ing it, instead it sends me to what­ev­er pre­vi­ous page I was look­ing at. and last­ly, when click­ing my OPEN TABS but­ton on the bot­tom left of my phone it works fine in that dis­plays all my open tabs accord­ing­ly, HOWEVER, it does NOT have that ‘mul­ti-task/view’ but­tom on the top right of each tab like you show us here in your video. I am using the Sam­sung Galaxy Note Edge 4 phone.
Can any­body please help me?

P.S. I was always able to use the mul­ti­task func­tion in the past before out of nowhere open­ing or going to YouTube sud­den­ly became an app only func­tion. also, (maybe this will help someobe to trou­ble shoot my phone or maybe some­one here at the same prob­lem and could share their secret on how to turn the damn thing OFF FOR GOOD!!!!) And that prob­lem is that also OUT OF NOWHERE my Google Chrome Earth/Internet icon on my main screen had one day turned bluish/purplish, if that makes sense. No longer the mul­ti-col­ored icon it once was. And don’t even get me start­ed with that in my opin­ion, unfa­vor­able lay­out and the way in which I can bare­ly access my Favorites and oth­er Links.
