The Microsoft Band is the first hardware in Microsoft’s plan to track and analyze your fitness data. We decided to try it out.
The Band is, of course, Microsoft’s first fitness tracker, the physical actualization of the company’s grand plan to be the source of all the world’s health data. The Band is part of the plan, but it’s not the whole plan; the whole plan involves cross-platform apps, a machine-learning system that turns your data into “insights” about how to live better tomorrow, and a vast ecosystem of hardware and software developers collecting data and delivering insights. The Band is the first device, but it won’t be the last, not even from Microsoft.

@CaptainTalon448 windows phone is very small in the smartphone market. Couldn’t risk it hurting sales.
So ugly.
@CaptainTalon448
voice capability only works with cortana on WP8. but other than that, microsoft is trying to bring everyone together.
Got my band day 1, loving it so far, and the integration with my Windows Phone works great! Can’t wait to see more along these lines. Now if only Microsoft would push out a new flagship phone soon.
It would have been more comfortable if they made through a watch, like Apple did. But none of the less, amazing technology.
In daylight with traffic man?
microsoft band vs ipad comparaison???
I’m horny
he’s wearing the band upside down.….
Samsung gear s or samsung gear neo 2 or s fit…
Looks like Bryant Park in NYC
Since it’s always reading you’re heart rate wouldn’t that drain the battery
Too expensive for the things it is offering. Exactly like Surface pro devices.
I can’t take a review seriously that didn’t even get past the first page of the instructions: you’re wearing it wrong.
I really love that a Fitbit ad played before this video.
Quite good for its price but wish they made it in many colours like their Lumia phones and the fitbit flex. Colour options I would recommend: Black, white, orange, green, cyan and yellow.
Can it measure body fat %?
