“It’s no Apple Watch…”- The Verge
Im liking the straight usb charging along with the placement of it
Please android wear
This just looks like a watered down Moto360. I think I’ll stay with android wear.
What phone is that? 1:08
Its ugly, looks like laggy software.
That didn’t look like android wear
That looks terrible. You can tell as he swipes the screen isn’t as responsive as it should be maybe because the finish on the glass isn’t good. Also, there are no animations on the UI. The colours are over done. It looks like an attempt to be a good looking smart watch with cheap materials and finishes.
You picked those guys off the street that they work for you at CES, didn’t you? It looks really unprofessional from what I’ve seen until now. Chris Ziegler’s are fine though.
what android phone is in the video?
All those apps you show are already on my Moto 360.. Hope they’d come with some new stuff since the description calls it intriguing :p
Inside app got typing error ‘calender’ (at 1.45) #lol
I like the way the USB is in incognito, the watch band is usually useless but they’ve used it well
So no removable strap? Kinda reason why Samsung Galaxy gear watches were not so successful, no?
Not bad Alcatel, no bad…
It lacks some important Android Wear features, though, and the performance might suck.
So if I actually needed or found smart watches useful enough to purchase I would purchase this one out of them all.
Not a big fan of that bezel on the bottom.
Overall, not bad for $149 spent.
At 1:43 Alcatel spelled Calendar wrong in the Android companion app shown…
Nothing about price?
woah…this is a 100% copy of moto 360 watch
No predicted price not predicted release?
Took the worst “features” from the existing round smartwatches: Thick circle bezel (LG) AND bottom flat tire (Moto). Add on to that its proprietary OS, not Android Wear. This is designed to fail.
Why no windows support!
I like it. Only cause its a Moto 360 that’s actually compatible with iOS
LAG
Would this work with older phones? Coz i’ve only got a 3gs 😛
Is it waterproof ?
$?
My pebble steel battery last 5 days haha
So after this entire video, I have no idea how it actually works as a Smartwatch. How are notifications displayed? Will I be able to respond to notifications from the watch? Does it have app support on Android/iOS/independent.
If its under 200 im sold flipping apple exepecting me to buy a 700 dollar phone and get a 350 and up watch pfffttt no
Just for people’s info…the Moto 360 is NOWHERE NEAR awkward on the wrist… 🙂
0:13 seconds in and this already looks like crap. Laggy Crap!
the bezel gets this a no from me
Do you know when it comes in to the shops?
omfg, QUIT PUTTING THIS BULLSHIT ON SMARTWATCHES!!!!! If they took out half the bs in these watches they’d last months on 1 charge.
Idk about all ppl, but most ppl I know don’t even like wearing anything but headphones while they run. Why? Well what’s the first thing that’ll happen when u exercise? U sweat. Most ppl don’t want to have their watch covered in sweat, so they don’t wear em, and have it in their pocket or something to check periodically. This bs smartwatch with the heartbeat sensor is just “bling” to get ppl to buy it. I fkin swear, the next gen in smartwatches is going to have a goddamn printer inside it “PRINTING ON THE GO!” sigh.……
I just want ONE smartwatch that:
1) has a mic
2) has a bat life of at least a week
3) possibly wireless charging
4) IS the phone
5) can do basic tasks like check texts/emails/phone calls(it’s a fkin watch afterall, NOT a computer replacement)
6) Turn by turn navigation(the MOST demanding feature it should have)
7) Oh yea, tell me the fkin time XP
Does it have a ambient mode ?!
Crap
I had the same watch features on a $40.00 Chinese knock off smartwatch. Not impressed.
Anyone know how the developer community is for the one touch watch? I am looking at the Pebble Time watch as well, which seems to have a huge developer base.
Wow, taking a moto 360 flat tyre flaw and make it worst , just becos its cheap? So their target market are for people who desperately need to get a smart watch… which is not a need at this point of time. Interesting strategy.
it slides slow, crap.
Nice and informative review. Hope you can also make a hands-on review on the new modular smartwatch from blocks. I find it decent, classy and one of a kind. It’s more innovative when it comes to its features and functionalities as it is fully customizable.
Look cheapskate
More like on-hands
flat tyre watch.
