What a useless product a trackpoint does the same job better.
Thats never going to be used for gaming
If it ain’t broke don’t fix it
I can imagine this is like with touch-typing: hard to get the hang of but once you do your productivity skyrockets.
i want to see a comparison with a trackpad. and what make it better to used this over a trackpad or mouse.
i bet it wont make me better at quickscoping
No just No 😉
It’d be better if it were a whole mouse-less computer that have those sensors on the screen itself so you can just point wherever you want and click or whatever
Uhhh
if ain’t broken don’t fix it
Someone needs to reinvent the keyboard
Meh… :/
Or just make a sensor that follows your eyes, you double blink for a click.
Stupid. They are basically re-inventing the IBM red trackpoint thing you see on IBM laptops. Except shitty.
Leap motion seames like a more stable hardware to use this idea on
What advantages does this have over a conventional trackpoint?
might be good for small laptops, saves space if you don’t instal a physical trackpad
What watch face is he using?
Na…I’ll stick to my mouse. It would be useful for smart Tv’s though.
Whats going on at CES this year? i was so over excited, but its such a disappointment this year. I’m hoping something good comes up , like a galaxy S6 or something
just a gimmick, could never see this being a thing.
why not just buy a touchscreen display?!?!?
a new wave of carpal tunnel is on the horizon.
Sooo.. what does it do again? Moves the mouse pointer? That was a terrible demo.
1:41 lol at the editing in the end..
not a good idea
I can use my finger to make ‘things’ move too
a device that is still a concept.…
and the company wants us pay 199$ for this shit
at least make it fully functional and then release it.
or
make the price 19$ and the consumer will happily calibrate it
Redundant
Still think ThinkPad’s TrackPoint is the best.
That’s useless, mouse provides pin point accuracy which a finger tracker can’t provide, not even trackpads are that handy.
