as an audio guy i see the AV in/out but need to know pre out voltage and how many? i’m not downgrading to 3/2V. Did i miss the EQ bands? the pioneer PRS-80 has 32 band (16 left ch 16 right ch) EQ, so i would hope since they keep saying parrot is into audio they would have something more than pre-selects, i see a “pro” button but still would like to know more.….definitely looks intriguing
That looks really interesting, if the price will be nice I’ll install it in my Golf
can you pair it with your phone via bluetooth ?
when is it going to be realeased!!!
That’s really useful. I want one! 😀
0:53 LEET !! 1337 !! LEET
This is amazing We need more of this
I have a Chinese Android radio that’s just like this.
I so want this head unit, or one that has the same functions. Hope see other manufactures to announce head units at CES
To every one talking about single DIN, this concept wouldent work single DIN setup wouldent have the screen size play with.
Hope for the pricing of this unit to be announced soon and comes with connextions so will marry up with cars current steering wheel control.
can you stop ending your sentences in the form of a question?
Finally, something useful at CES! Looks really good, however not really practical for older cars with factory installed navigation systems.
I want this!
Though living in Canada with our cold weather I worry a screen like that would break
Cool! It runs Lollipop AND it can connect to Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay? Well done, Parrot.
i bet people will break my car in a matter of days to take that out…
Beautiful and awesome gadget tho !
I love it!
This is by far the cleanest interface I’ve seen on an aftermarket head unit.
Yep… I might use that as a monitor for my camera.…. Just sayin
Can this dash cam take photos of drivers of running red lights or speeding?
How much will it cost?
This seems like a great idea would love to try it out first hand!
oh this is very cool tech
I want this so bad know I hope it will hit the market
These things will wind up being easily stolen out of older vehicles.
i hate when people come here and ask for likes . like if you agree
Does it work in 115 degree arizona heat?
i want it sooooo much O.O
They should name it Parrot asteroid smart 2 🙂 a have original version (which is running android 2.x) and I absolutely love it. Its running a bit slow for example facebook and web is nightmare, but other than that, its really great it costs me about 500 euro, I hope that this new version wont be so expensive.
I want this in my piece of crap car. Problem is, is that it’s a piece of crap. 😒
very cool, but please narrator — STOP UPTALKING!
Where are the ports for plugging in aftermarket amps? i looked at the back and didnt see any place where they were. those audio controls look cool but if its just runningoff of the built in amp id find it much more of a gimmic than anything else. i could very well be wrong since it seems to be a well thought out unit in other places and maybe (hopefully) theres an add on that lets audio ethusiasts use this or the rca jacks are someplace else or they are using another type of connection. besides that, this looks to be like a sweet head unit to have if you can fit it in your car. i think i read adding a backup camera would allow this to do parking assist as well. connecting the obd2 along with the dash cam and phone/s is likely to take some skill in hiding all those wires.

Oh jeesh.…this guy speaking is one of those a‑holes who turns every declaritive sentence into a question.….raises his voice at the end of every sentence.….….….fucking annoying habit! Stop it!
Call me old-fashined, but I still use and need a CD player in my car…
I think I’ll wait for the Chinese clones. It looks neat, but it’ll probably be pretty damn expensive for what you’re getting.
I’m getting a new car(well, its a 2004) this week and this would make an excellent addition to it! Please release soon! I love that this is a “shallow” unit, as the deep units do not fit in the car I’m getting (Buick LeSabre)
Lol at this unit that was cancelled. idiotic decision.
