Induction ovens don’t emit flames, but seeing them could prevent you burning your hand. Samsung’s NE9900 virtual flame over solves that problem with bright blue LEDs.

First comment!
$3,000? Chill, i’ll wait for a price drop.
Misleading title is misleading
¡WOW!
Pretty cool idea. It’s true it’s usually quite difficult to know which stovetop is still hot.
Well done Samsung 👏
Stick to stoves — phones, tablets, computers aren’t your thing
This might be the most unenthusiastic reviewer I’ve heard thus far, this and the Samsung speakers were two of the worst reviews…
Samsung make condoms too, and probably even a hand in butt plugs.
Actually, pretty nifty idea.
Interesting Gimmick i guess
Wow! $3000 for a stove with lights? I’m sold!
Wow, so we’re paying 3000 for a regular ass induction heating stove top with extra LED’s that cost a dollar a pop? Sign me upppp
Well, time to sell my kidney
Electric stoves suck. This doesn’t really help. Gimmicky
wouldn’t be a better idea if they put thermometers to the stove top that senses the pots heat and project the readings back to the pots using a color code or something, instead of mimicking the flames.
Now that’s something innovative sasmsung but! you always need to poop in something as you did in price :-/
Weaksauce. I thought the LEDs were heating up the food. For 3k I expect an oven with lasers and the latest version of Android with a selfie camera & instagram integration. Oh and a sanitizing UV light that kills bacteria.
Who cares about the technical benefits, this just looks awesome! Enough reason to get it.
Who the fuck wants electric stoves
DODODODDDDDRRRROPPPP THE PRICE!!!!!
From some of your 3000$ please you can donate some of it to

This reviewer is horrible.
Watching this on my Sony Bravia through my PS4, but its only coming in as 720p :, (
If I was a millionaire I would fill my entire house only with Samsung products and appliances
Apple camp be like “Oh crap we need to develop our own stove that has more features that this”. Then, couple of years from now the battle between Apple and Samsung will be SmartStove lol.
Hmm, i wonder if we’ll eventually get laser stove tops.
$3000!? So unless this stove has some revolutionary features a standard same size induction heated stovetop doesn’t have, all you are buying are some sensors and LED’s for $1000-$2000, considering most induction stoves are priced from $700-$2000. Plus I don’t see why they can’t make these “$1000 worth” of LED’s/Sensors for portable induction stovetops for counters. Maybe an handheld infrared temperature reader with LCD number readoud ($50-$100), would be cheaper and more efficient than some pretty lights. Or just change the pretty lights to a simple and accurate temperature number readout, sigh.
My watch has more features.
Or..you know…use real flames by getting a gas cooktop.
Does the guy using Sony RX100 iii? 0:43
I wud b better if there was. Red ring around , n its gets broader or narrower as the intensity these led fumes r pretty stupid
Well all my pots and are blue, so WHAT THE FUCK
It will be broken beyond repair just after the warranty runs out. This is cool if you don’t mind buying a new one every 5 years.
