It would be cool if they some­how put wire­less charg­ing into the phone cases.

Darcey, you’re cool, def­i­nite­ly let the inter­vie­wee know that you hear him but for me it’s eas­i­er on the ears if you’re not mak­ing the con­fir­mat­ing sounds (uhuh, yeah, ok, cool, etc.) as much. It’s some minor feed­back, not a big deal. Thanks for the interview!

Oh god.…. Not him again.…. At least this year he does­n’t seem to be act­ing like a com­plete douchebag but now he won’t speak into his good damn mic!

Sounds like they are try­ing to bol­ster their port­fo­lio because they know Motoro­la / LG / Nokia are already ship­ping QI enabled prod­ucts for awhile.

I doubt the two stan­dards will com­bine PMA & A4WP and become sucess­ful as QI is already estab­lished and ear­ly adopters already have bought into QI and acces­sories, why would some­one buy a new device that uses the oth­er “stan­dard” and then throw out all their Tech ???

Its stu­pid real­ly why can’t they all band togeth­er with QI stan­dard now and con­cen­trate on improv­ing that rather than fight with brand name drop­ping, its stupid.

QI came to mar­ket first, now they show up late to the par­ty show­ing off big names in a “My dad could beat your dad up way”, they just look like the guy who stole the idea but could not quite fig­ure it out.

The only advan­tages I can see being gained in Wire­less is Faster charg­ing and bet­ter range but induc­tive charg­ing caus­es heat ( like­ly to help over heat devices at high­er out­puts ) and why do you need to Wire­less charge fast ? I use my QI charg­ers when im in the car or asleep.

If i want to fast charge a device i’ll use a high out­put Wall adapter with the device switched off :

 A. its like 10 quid for a 3 or 4 amp charg­er 
 B. Its small­er and more com­pact.
 C. You don’t need to make sure you have the cor­rect Volt­age or Ampage to make sure the charg­er works ! 

This is the wave of the future for CORP America. 

less wires at what cost? you must be know­ing, inter­net is best done via use of wires cross­ing the atlantic ocean.… wire­less is slow­er and inju­ri­ous to us! WIFI we all love, but does have effects, a virus was found which can make a nor­mal router to become a more radi­a­tion haz­ard! WELL THIS TECHNOLOGY IN THE VIDEO, I LIKE THIS TECH AS IN THE VIDEO HERE ABOVE… but just telling, do prop­er obser­va­tion rather than going all kid­dish in love of tech­nol­o­gy. observe prop­er­ly, unbi­ased.… THIS CHARGING TECH IS GREAT. just telling for oth­er, myth=“wireless is always better”
