On Jan. 20, we headed to Cape Canaveral, Florida to watch the Atlas V rocket launch, a communications satellite for the US Navy.
While there, we spoke with a retired NASA shuttle astronaut and representatives for the United Launch Alliance, ESA, and Sierra Nevada Corp. about the future of human exploration.

I don’t see how the money/budget thing is always even a question.
This is tax money, we, the people are paying for this, it’s not like they are paying it out of their own pocket (excluding private corporations)
The governemnt should just give them all the money they need.
Does she have a wig on?
Orgasm to rocket launch?
“The idea that we might be going to Mars…” Shut the fuck up, we are you dipshit.
Did she climax..?
Oh well, I’m looking forward to the day I’d able to say I remember a time before mainstream commercial space travel.
we is talking about humanity as a whole, space belongs to us all.
awesome can’t wait
Hey guys follow me on Instagram I follow back 100% @karnavr
Thank you Lloyd. America is a great country and they do attract talent from all over the world. They should therefore be more gracious in acknowledging that.
Hey Verge I really liked her she was super awesome. ::p
ALl NASA rockets use Russian engines..Atlas V also ..guess Chines are faster in copying then americans
Too much host, not enough launch
I am taking aerospace engineering at university and I hope to work for the space sector 🙂
Hoped to see Atlas launch, but was forced to whatch fat lady’s face during orgasm…
I really dislike this presenter. It’s irritates me that she describes infrastructure building missions like satellite launches “uninspired”. Satellites are the original spacecraft! This is a typical superficial look at space travel and i think this video harms space exploration more that it helps it. She is basically saying the only interesting thing is putting people in space and dissuading interest in everyday space technology which is extraordinary and inspiring. Space exploration is not a series of amazing achievements, its decades of grinding and hard work to make the technology that can get us to cislunar space and beyond and i find this video an insult to all of the people who work hard to build the future
5:09 lol her face is worth a meme there
I could’ve liked the video but the title was sort of overhyped.
I have been there
everyone knows that the future of space is in private enterprise not public nasa is dead
the only way nasa will be back is if other governments are in competition governments act by competition not out of interest private companies act at the basis out of pure interest which is why they are more succsseful
We will have to be everyone. Space is way to big for 1 country to finance. We also need other types of faster
propulsion to be developed in order to cover the large distances that will be involved.
Matt Smith sounds exactly as president Obama
I love space exploration. But before going to Mars, we should solve our problems here first, not flee from them.
US US US well fuck US… this is about space innovation, not patriotism. turn that down a notch u sad portents!
Just change the scene
What if the Earth is not an elliptical spheroid and not even a globe? What if its flat?
Why did I cried watching this video
