Aboard the International Space Station, Expedition 42 Commander Barry Wilmore and Flight Engineer Terry Virts of NASA discussed their daily regiment and research aboard the orbital laboratory in a pair of in-flight interviews Feb. 26 with Aviation Week, Space Technology and WAAY-TV in Huntsville, Alabama. Wilmore and Virts are in the midst of a trio of spacewalks to rig the station’s modules for the installation of new docking ports that will greet U.S. commercial crew vehicles in the future.

Butch floating in the back…
I wonder what the counter meassurements are if a micro asteroid (golfball size) hits the ISS and breaks the hull..like a clean shot through..one side in, one out…like in some movies. Is that even possible (i know its highly unlikely to happen..but even a 0,0000000001% chance is still a chance.) Does the life support system balance the pressure long enough for the crew to put their suits on or would the vacuum rip it apart? And what then? Seal damaged module, fix holes (with what/how) and then re-pressurize the module?)
I know that 90% of astronauts training is train emergency situations..train every error/fail/problem..so..what to do in case of a hull break?
Very Interesting about the effects of space walking/working on your fingers. On the 3D printer and the manufacturing of speciality items that is really cool. Being in a test environment lots of applications would seem to be possible and cost effective.
Why is he wearing a belt? There’s no up or down, so in what direction are his pants being held?
It would really be nice if you could show on a diagram or model of the ISS where those interviews are held either before the video or during as a small overlay. I would love to see a small model maybe in a corner of the video showing where they are because I have no idea where they are in the iss on this interview
good shoot or good suit 2:35.. hrmm
I’d be happy so to get back to the UK
butch and terry look like they got a bad case of dupers delight
why not add a second station on the moon?
