The dress is black and blue!
This art style and animation kicks ass.
HAHAHAAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHA they act like they know the rules (which they have no clue what the new regs are because the FCC will not let anyone read them). Guess what guys, Internet tax, website registration, and IRS tax filing on GB’s used. Also the government will OWN the internet and your information! So gg. RIP the open and free internet. Mindless drones… EFFF
Thxs The Verge for the post: The History of Net Neutrality.
YES INTERNET FTW
I am in love with all these animations!! I want to know the people that work on these type of videos and potentially work with you!
Leave it to fox 11 to make Net Neutrality look like a bad thing.
i dont understand your weird internet rules
One more of these horridly uninformed videos and I’m unsubscribing. Stick to tech, your horrible at politics!
Awesome break down.
I’m really tired of people saying the free market will take care of this issue. it will not for a couple reasons. 1. the isp’s are using the courts to crush any competition that might arise from startup companies. 2. you are basically dealing with an oligopoly here. in many places there is only one option for broadband internet and in the areas you have more than one they collude to not compete with each other. I for instance only have the option of comcast or verizon and they are both awful. This problem is entirely artificial and unnecessary. If we were to look back we would see that they argued that if they were reclassified under title 1 it would mean savings for their consumers among other things. Needless to say that never happened. Rather, the rates they charge continue to rise at 3x the rate of inflation while continuing to make record profits all while receiving tax breaks from the telecommunications act for infrastructure upgrades on infrastructure THAT THEY REFUSE TO UPGRADE. About the only thing they do is try to buy each other up and create even more of a monopoly. Does everyone remember Bell? They were broken up for much less than what these companies are doing. trust-busting is really what needs to happen here.
I love how this story is couched in truth, ONLY because The Verge says so… ?
This IS, without ANY MODICUM OF DOUBT a full-blown Gov’t TAKEOVER of the web and is ALL one needs to on know about ‘Net “NEUTRALITY”…
So when does this go into effect?
anyone talking about “lawful traffic”? It’ll be interesting to see what the government changes to unlawful content and shut it down…
We may not have the fastest internet on the planet..But we have net neutrality..here all traffic is treated equal…
Print shirts that say …
