HOW MUCH MONEY
HOW MUCH MONEY
HOW MUCH MONEY
HOW MUCH MONEY IS APPLE PAYING YOU TO MAKE EVERYTHING LOOK SHIT COMPARED TO THERE PRODUCTS
This is perhaps the best hardware available running software that is not making full use of the hardware. I’d happily pay 1299 for a beautiful i7 16gb ram some hi resolution touchscreen laptop with 12 hours of battery life and 2 hours quick charge if it ran windows and Photoshop or something that actually used dat processor.
The cromebook looks really cool, but im hoping to see more video editing/audio editing apps available, and save up for it.
I need to take slight exception to The Verge’s opinion that you will want one but you should never buy one, and their (and most reviewers) obsession with the price. Yes, it’s expensive, but most Apple users would have more than enough computer with a Macbook Air but they still drop hundreds of more dollars on a Macbook Pro, which they most likely have no logical need for. If you can afford $999, and you do 99% of your computing on a Chromebook, why NOT drop it on a Pixel? Only Apple gets a complete pass when it comes to price.
As Chrome OS continues to mature, and Google continues to marry it and Android, this machine will start to seem more logical, and less and less like a luxury reserved for a Saudi Arabian sheik. For now I’m content with my Toshiba Chromebook 2, but if I had $999 lying around.…
To whoever has the new Pixel: is it worth it running Linux? How is the experience?
This thing is fast and watching videos is a blast. If you just need to do to do simple things like vid, editing photos, web browsing then it does not get any better. No lag what’s so ever.
It feels like a PC and a Mac had a baby xD but Im not complaining
hopefully i can grab one at a good price on black friday, i really want one so i can use it as my linux machine.
a laptop that it’s only for cloud services starting at $1000 this is really expensive
i was looking for this kind of hardware that was not Apple ( i Hate Apple products) but, I need to be able to edit video and use eclipse, and a Database service. with a bigger hard drive and a better OS (Linux or Windows ) i would think its well worth the prices. But as is I would say its real value is 400 to 600 bucks.
This is my ONLY laptop. I do not need a Windows or Mac based system
i regret to buy a Macbook instead of Google pixel
I really want one… how does this compare everyday to like an xps 13 or razer blade stealth?
99.99999% of people could get away with using this laptop. How many people use studio quality graphic intensive computer animating? A professional reviewer should be able to recommend this without worries.
if only chrome had built in unity web player, why did chrome get rid of unity web player support? before that i used chrome for every thing. now I use Mozilla just because I want unity support.
They should stylize it as “PIXL” or something like that.
“999$” Boi, this chromebook should survive a grenade explosion
Where to buy the LS 2???
They’re going for $300
Google should make a new Pixel Chromebook, Samsung Chromebook Pro doesn’t have a backlit keyboard
Thank you for useful video about pixel chromebook , see also this video very helpful and new information

What’s the game he’s playing in the video? : )
Loved this review. Watched it when released and ended up buying a Chromebook Pixel, which is what I am using to type this comment now! Absolutely love the design and performance of this machine, even with several years of usage. Nothing like it. Really wish Google would bring back the Chromebook Pixel. One can only hope!
