Literally the best way to piss someone off…
Wave Rock is about 340km from Perth. Not in Perth 😛
It’s so awkward watching him interrupt the Google representative while he’s trying to explain to him what he’s watching.
Revolutionary music app?!? Iol’d so much I almost crapped my pents…
Someone know where I can buy a google cardboard for my iPhone 6 plus?
“Why not create some sort of super camera” Aka why not spend millions of dollars making a proprietary product, when we already have a relatively cheap solution that cost us very little to produce? Seriously, where in the hell do they get these people. I would say that I’d offer to work for the Verge, but I’m guessing the pay sucks.
Is this for real???
I tested one of them at an exposition the mineral industry in montreal
2015 google cardboard We can supply it.
magic leap is google’s secret weapon in vr. they put down $500mils for a reason.
Please fire this journalist. What a waste of my time
“The Wave Rock; it’s in Perth, Australia“
Yep. Only 350km east of Perth.
I can say first hand it’s a hell of a drive.
I don’t think this “jpurnalist” is taking in consideration that google is less creating consumer products than overall concepts that can be built upon. The Verge should get someone who understands(or researches) how some of these things work, or at the very least someone who is willing to ask better questions. Is this an experiment or the real thing? How insulting.
Do you need to download the app to stream videos or watch videos thats already in your phone and still get a movie theatre like experience?
Google will own your content
Clueless!! how it exactly work, if there is no way to recieve input of a user. For eg: clicking of a button or something.
So what’s next, no need to take the kids out just stay indoors? Its defeeding the purpose of taking a field trip!
Stupidity at its finest.

Wow, that host was kind of a huge dick.

Worst case scenario: shoot I dropped my headset and my phone was in it.
When will the VR option work for iOS devices on YouTube?
this guy interrups me 😐
LOVE LOVE LOVE the application of cardboard in the classroom — GO GOOGLE!!
Google is coming to our school to do this 😛
I hate the Verge’s journalistic style but they have great content
Dieter is a dickasshole when interviewing…
watching this on cardboard aha cardboardception
Well he might have a bit of an offensive style, but everything he asked was on point and he was trying to clear away any potential bullshit. I actually think he did a good job.
4:00 Yeah, cause everybody has 16 GoPros!
Have you guys checked out FutureKat SuperPark?
Imagine your mom walking in on you looking into a cardboard box
