The keyboard charge is pretty cool, but if that cool, i think i’ll get the ipad pro.
they already had a nexus 9 and a keyboard built for it and it didnt sell well at all, what is different about this?
too costly
I find it interesting that both Google and Apple have been influenced by Mircrosoft’s Surface tablet. In the end, the consumer wins!
It’s not 16:9. Pass.
Does anyone think this would be good for a college student??? If I could use this for shook and do mostly everything then I’d buy it!
che cornicioni!
I think I just found the tablet to replace my original Note 10.1.
“The pretty good to type one”
I rather they come out with a pixel 3 and more polish chrome OS
with that money I would rather go for surface, not to mention surface pro 4 is coming soon
IPad pro- a tablet with a keyboard
Chrome pixel c — a tablet with a keyboard
Surface pro — a tablet which can replace your laptop.
Well another “great” video . Hey..if it ain’t Apple it ain’t nothing. .Amirite
how many surfaces are apple and Google going to make????
The whole point of a hybrid device is to adapt as much it can to blend the line between a full computer and a mobile one. For it to accomplish this complex task, it is necessary to run a full desktop OS. That’s the strength of the Surface. Microsoft knew it needed to build a device that could align itself in this area. Because it needs to run a full desktop OS, it was also the same reason it failed during the initial attempts. It wasn’t until Windows 8.1 and now Windows 10 and the new line of Surface devices. Since Windows 10 has become a service-type OS meaning it will be updated more often, expect Microsoft to further distance from the competition. The good thing is that Microsoft isn’t alone doing this thing, Dell, HP, Lenovo, etc. are all in with Microsoft. Google and Apple know they have some serious competition and it’s attempting to disrupt their precious mobile revolution.
no expandable storage ?
People keep saying surface clone. Go back to when the iPad first came, 3rd party developers were making keyboards like this and the surface. Zag for example was doing this. The only difference is Google and Apple are making their own keyboards for their product. Nothing new just rinse and repeat.
If I didn’t have my mac I would buy this
This could be awesome if I installed Arch on it.
Another Microsoft Surface wannabe device.
Maybe when Android has good multitasking. For now I don’t think it’s worth $650.
Looks overpriced to me. Not gonna replace the surface, and definitely not gonna replace a laptop.
好贫气的展示台…
Been searching for a new tablet since i really need it for bussiness life,
IPAD PRO, to expensive,-
Galaxy Tab S 10.5, lack OS Support, even XDA does not have Official CM rom.
Nexus 9, only 32GB?
and then here comes PIXEL C with Android OS M, Thanks GOD! Can’t wait to get it on hand.
Some people say that this thing is useless since it’s running mobile OS.
Yep, that’s true. That’s why tablet never really outsell smartphone.
Tablet is more for entertainment, bussiness class for presentation, and portable desktop.
Just because it’s not useful for YOURSELF, does not mean it’s useless for everyone.
Anyway, here’s a potato.
Excellent I love keyboards. I’m a bit of a blackberry fiend.
I wonder how efficient the keyboards power and charging is going to be. I’d hate it to drain a lot of battery by dint of an inefficient charging set up.
It takes a special kind of idiot to jam a laptop onto a product table while everyone else is filming.
Now every company copying Microsoft 😀
Microsoft Surface minus the functionality, the productivity and the smoothness of the OS.
Basically, a large phone with an attachable keyboard. Wow!
That Tablet is B3457
I guess this is the future of computers
Does this have expandable storage
A “tegra processor“means nothing, a “tegra X1 processor” in the other hand means it is super duper powerful. By just “tegra” you could be referring to a tegra 4 witch is nothing special.
Looks awesome and costs hundreds less than a Surface Pro. But (especially considering that the screen size is the same as an A4 sheet of paper) I wish there was a stylus. Come on Google! How about a Pixel Pencil?
great but too pricey!
To me the pixel c should have used a x86 processor like the surface pro .
Some people in the comments aren’t getting it. If you need windows that’s great. the surface is for you. This is a lighter. simpler option than windows that still has near PC like functionality ( android gives you lots of freedom, it’s like a PC made specifically for touch). There is no real multitasking but not everyone cares about that. This will perform better than a surface 3 due to using a lighter OS too. Think of it this way, surface 3 is a low end windows tablet while the pixel c is a high end android tablet. Both have their pros and cons.
I do agree google should have waited until stock android got the multitasking abilities that touchwiz has and remix OS but it’s not a huge deal if you can accept it. You can use microsoft office and other office suites on it for more basic productivity. It isn’t for things that are too complex. Overall this seems like a awesome high end android tablet. You don’t NEED the keyboard with it, in fact you could just get a cheaper keyboard case for it. If you want to spend the extra to get the full package then the keyboard will add to the experience, it’s not nearly as necessary as getting the type cover for the surface tablets.
1st???
it needs finger print scanner.. Most older iPads has it. Hell, even my old Galaxy Tablet S has it. I can’t accept devices without finger print scanner in 2015.
This looks perfect for uni work, when is it out?
does it work on otg
