no iphone in that guy’s hand ??? nice… 2016 sure is looking odd.
Damn, who would have thought auto manufacturers can make something cool these days
Very cool. You go Hyundai
This is legit stupid. Never have I thought “hmmm let me pull out of phone so I can get an augmented reality view of the inside of my car so I can search for the heating controls with my phone screen instead of using my actual vision of the world”
future is great
What a time to be alive.
That’s very useful !! now almost anyone gonna be a mechanician…
actually a good idea tho
Hyundai ftw
There are always skeptical people out there. But this is simply good I think.
This is probably one of the greatest ideas for new car owners in my generation. On my dads side of the family most of the men are motor junkies who are really knowledgeable around cars, but I must get my artistic side from my moms side, because I have almost no idea how to do much of anything with a car. And I’m always forgetting to change the oil. Something like this will help me remember and learn a schedule on when and how to do so. So people can’t complain that everything is done for them, when in fact they will be learning and after a while they will be able to notice problems and fix them on there own.
Very cool.
smart
What? Toyota been have this since 2014.
Clever stuff. Good work Hyundai!
thats cool !!!
This is an awesome idea! I know very little about cars, so I think this would be super useful.
This is actually super cool
i totaly can see some people pulling over on the highway, getting their smartphone out and checking what that light means that just turned on.ö
Can anyone buy passes to ces or only media ??
Great idea. Should be an open source system where people can map out their cars and help the less knowledgeable.
You can set your phone down and it’ll still do what it’s supposed to?! OMG! I wish I could set my phone down and have it do nothing! WHAT THE HECK ELSE WOULD IT DO?!?!?!?!
Way to save trees.
AR and VR are the future
This should be standard.
Looks cool, for sure. Yet what’d be a use case? One’d know his/her car controls by heart after a weeks of usage, I suggest.
This out of everything I’ve seen so far is the most useful tool for smart phones and probably VR.
This enables education in practicality, learning to build and fix shit, Fucking genius!.
Fucking awesome.
now this is something really interesting
Good idea. Seems a little laggy, but still good job.
Everyone watching this should check out the Reality Editor being developed by Fluid Interfaces at MIT
does this work for every model year?
Why can’t people just learn how to work on and use their own cars. It’s really not all that difficult.
Did you mean the 2016 Sonata?
tightt..
Jaguar, Audi, BMW, etc need to adopt this. Maybe in the form of a durable/long battery life tablet like device or on the dash screen itself. Who knows
okay… that’s cool
wow and you can put your phone down and still can watching it.
awesome
this was actually very cool.
This is a damn good idea! And can be applied outside of cars too!
I’m starting to really want a Hyundai.
Absolutely brilliant. I hope to see more or this with other manufacturers.
Where’s the criticism in the comments? There always is.
awesome
Wow this is amazing.…
That would be really awesome to have across the board with car companies. Not everyone’s a car fanatic, so even for the casual consumer, this would be quite helpful.
cool
