It begins, iPhone 7 ready ..
So if Apple is ditching the headphone jack how the F am I going to charge my iPhone while listening to my headphones.. They should vastly improve battery life if they choose this option
You had me close the YouTube app at $500
They dont even say that the headphones are planar magnetics…
But why?
DONT START IT
$500?! I would definitely get a pair of Beats at that price. Since Beats are owned by Apple they will probably make lightening earphones too.
This is insanely crazy!!!
When Tom Cook takes a crap, they will make special toilet paper, won´t they?
This is a joke.
I hope people won’t actually go support overpriced headphones that can only be used on a specific plug because of reasons.
Hell, I believe I‑tunes even forcefully converts music to 128 kbp’s when you put it on your I‑phone by default and music bought from I‑tunes is 256 kbps AAC.
Sure, you don’t need 320 kbps but when you are spending $800,- on a headphone you would probably prefer to try them out on something like .wav as well.
But go ahead, enjoy your expensive I‑phone headphones that you can’t connect to anything else to test out different quality of music.
Not to mention the part where the hinges look like they will break within 3 weeks of using.
These things remind me of Beats by Dre.
Lightning port is just plain stupid. It’s a proprietary port only for iSheeps. Buses and airplanes use the 3.5 jack because its the standard. Only iSheeps will use them meh meh
Can’t wait for the headphone port to be gone. Haven’t used mine in a few years. lighting cable to a DAC makes everything sound 100% better. Don’t worry android people. 5.0 added in USB audio so we can see headphones with two cables (usb, lighting) to offer greater sound then the crap headphone jacks.
This idea is like undoing innovation. Why the hell do I want a single port meaning I can’t do two tasks at once. I often listen to music while having my phone charging and I’m sure many other people do so.
I like this presenter, nice tone of voice
what’s wrong with your neck
It is a sine that these are too expensive and I can’t afford it
God damn it, the rumors could be true about the iPhone 7.
Seems that those rumors about Apple removing the headphone jack from the iPhone could be true.
As its already said Lighning port will simply bypass the DAC of the iphone and will send the data to external DAC of this headphone.
DAC of the iphones are not expected to output audiophile sound, this headphone will bypass the DAC of the iphone as it has its own DAC and DSP . Ofcourse if it has better DAC, it will sound better. You can simply see that the ipods have better analog output then the iphones due to internal DACs are different.
if its own DSP can not be closed then it will also add color to the sound which is not requested from an audiophile grade headphone.
IMHO , to get audiophile sound from and iphone is useless unless you need this difference on the go . To use it at home , I will definitely go with a separete DAC amp + simple audiophile headphone i.e. Sony MDR7506 which will sound much better then this +more or less will have the same total cost.
geee can’t wait to listen to an mp3 through them..
BYE BYE 3.5mm HEADPHONE JACK 😘
Then out of nowhere apple changes the lighting port 😂
Did you see the roost laptop stand 😉
somehow I think Apple “leaked” the rumor to ditch the 3.5mm jack themselves because the timing is so perfect. The leak occurred a few weeks ago, and has now gained enough attention for lightning-connected headphones in CES, and when September and the iPhone 7 comes, the move to ditch the 3.5mm jack has already been justified by these people at CES.
Because mobile dac/amp never existed before.
Yawn.….…..
I still don’t get why people want to buy headphones over 500 bucks 😐
Thinness isn’t the only reason Apple would ditch the 3.5mm jack. It’s also because the 3.5 mm headphone jack takes up about twice as much space vertically and is about 1.5 time horizontally than the lightning and it’s port. It’s actually a lot of wasted room also they could make higher margins if they can stop producing that component or use that money towards some other tech like OLED Screens, way more battery, better speakers, or thinner bezels (or all of the above). So I believe Apple isn’t all evil just only half. 😂
Oh my neck hurts,Just watching this guy talk!
Why would anyone be willing to spend $800 on a pair of headphones?
“soundscape” I just had to close this video
Iphone 7 100% release with lightning jack port .Now we are making MFi lightning headphone, will release at july.
how do you charge your phone and use headphones at the same time…?
