I’ll get the PlayStation VR, thanks. Easier to access, less requirements, and it will probably be cheaper. There are also 100+ games coming for it.
Whats with the video?
Adi is awesome
He’s a sellout hypocrite, honestly.
You can tell they totally hooked up
Im going to need a lot more evidence it’s worth $1000 CAD (after tax and shipping to Canada). I was going to insta-buy till the sticker shock made me double take.
Great interview. Great conversation.
$599! I’m having flashbacks from sony’s 2006 E3 presentation.
That comment about AR by Palmer was a subtle burn. The HTC Vive is the only ARVR headset at HTC. He just called it garbage.
Better to keep price high and smaller population of people have access of VR at launch. We don’t know or no data to understand how VR affect people vision over long period of usage. Some journalist report ghosting image in the eye after long play session. I can see poor VR content design might burn the retina. Also how it will affect kids who eyes are still in development? Having a mass adoption at launch following by a mass lawsuit is not something people want to happen.
2:55 Hahaha, you might of as well said HoloLens. 😛 XD
That answer to Augmented Reality sounds like a diss of the Vive’s Chaperone system.
Is that Tarantino’s son?
4:30 is mark, pcmasterace confirmed
Palmer “Ballpark” Luckey
Great interview!
shut up tomato face
I don’t think VR will stay unaffordable for a long time, it might be a question of 2 or 4 years.
But when Social Network will meet Virtual Reality, it will be such a breakthrough and even a renaissance for the distance communication, that humanity will have a big reason to jump massively in VR
And in that way the price will not be such a limit ! Everybody will want to have their own HOLODECK at home.
We will buy VR like we buy actually a car ! The fact is Vr will be the down of teleportation ( locomotion+communication in one ) but even more, VR will become an alternative reality, and virtual space will redefine the boundaries of real space ! ! ! !
So we will have the choice to jump between the two realities…
Adi Robertson has the kind of face that says “i play magic the gathering”
Great Interview
I didn’t like the questions… almost all were predictions he can’t answer…
Okay this dude is exactly 2 days older than me (23) and is almost a billionaire. That’s fucking it. I’m cancelling my Netflix, selling my PS4 , TV, etc and getting shit done.
Love this chick. Palmer is also great guy. Like.
what a nice guy
Good questions; good answers.
Great interviewer!
Back before Zuckerberg took over Oculus and managed to politicize the whole company.
Hello from the FUTURE thank you for the Quest Lucky
