I’m starting to realize this as well. However, I think if you are a digital creator of some sort, then mayyybe i can see a use for one. But for ppl that already have laptops (which everyone does nowadays) tablets really are just becoming a piece of extra tech that you can really do without.

Well, news from the future: iPads didn’t die, tablets did.
I agree with this entirely… the idea of replacing your laptop with a tablet is frankly not going to take off. In order to even do that, you HAVE to add a keyboard which makes your tablet basically a touchscreen laptop anyway, albeit with a weird interface: and at that point what’s the point?
I use my tablet to read books, that’s it.
