Metasensor is a company looking to secure this breach by creating a motion sensor that will detect any kind of movement.

Store your data on cloud!?… Now give back my 2 minutes…
Lock your device in a bag with a padlock?
Use something that monitor the use of your device to know if someone turned it on while you were away?
Use two factor verification using bluetooth/FIDO U2F USB stick?
have the files on your phone and carry a chromecast. cast the presentation, keep phone on person.
Make the laptop self destructive ! Done
If security really is an issue, then use a portable device instead of a laptop if all you’ll be doing is presenting. Problem solved.
Easy? Don’t store anything locally. Use Dropbox
This smells like sponsored content
If my company my knows I don’t place the laptop in the safe OR keep it with me, I think I could be fired
Uhmmm. Go offline. Type your password. Run antivirus. Extract everything. Reformat laptop. The idea is even the password is intercepted, the virus won’t be able to send it over the internet.
okay, Justin Timberlake.….
how about you just have a backup at home?
picture this: you go to your room and use the safe.
Such value report: “Even if you encrypt your harddrive the maid will install a ‘virus’.” .… Yes if you encrypt using a banana. Full disk encryption + BIOS Password and nobody will install a thing.
Secure cloud storage? Get an authenticator for your phone and you’re good.

Or, ya know… turn on FileVault2 on the MBP featured in the video…
And If a regular maid wants to clean UNDER your laptop, you’ll run to the hotel room ’cause she moved it? o.o
I WILL GET THIS
the next time I go to Moscow or Shanghai…or was that the first time?
lol if it’s sooo important then use bussinese cloud storage and protect your laptop with windows hello
Someone share how a hotel made can hack into my MacBook without my password
thanks for the information
Full minute unskippable adds.. Shameful Display!
That is a really terrible video title fella’s.
WTF.
b‑b-but Macs don’t get viruses 🙁
Use a software like MACID on mac to ping iOS device when unlocked.
use cloud storage and logout before leaving your device alone , better yet use a ChromeBook .
What if the maid waits until the person is far away enough and then locks door and does her thing. Then she opens the door after and pretends she was cleaning up the place.
A print out maybe? Then burn the copy never use the original?
What about my porn? Will it be protected?
brilliant idea! and also connect this device with the camera on your laptop, take photos silently so u can see who is that guy
can’t you just encrypt your whole hdd, modern high level encryption is practically unbreakable (you do have to reformat). alternatively you can buy a 128gb usb stick and store all important info there
How will you plant a virus without getting access to your computer’s password in the first place? A locked BIOS, bootloader and an encrypted drive is all you need mate.
and before you know it, that device will be available for sale before they can ship out the device to the backers. LOL
How is the virus going to be planted if the computer is locked and encrypted?
Encrypt your external HD… Evil Maid stopped
how is this being funded.. this seems like a very specific use case. I mean yeah i guess technically those who really need this (i.e people in top positions discussing trade secrets) could fund this alone.. i just dont see them done it.
also, take the goddamn laptop with you.
if you’re a CEO and you leave your computer (with sensitive/precious data on it) unattended in a hotel room that isn’t even yours in a foreign country, you deserve to have it stolen and you deserve to lose your job.
There’s a Robert Dowey Jr. pillow in 0:21

or put it in a lockable case
So you’re telling me, that my rocketship design in my laptop will be stolen by a maid? and you have a gadget that would let me know that the maid stole my rocketship without actually being able to stop the maid? Shut up and take my money.
or get a brief case with a lock in it?
Why is this a video? Don’t leave your laptop unattended, dummy! I’m I subscribing because of this crap!
this guy is the best at making good videos, i dont like most of the videos on this channel. but the production quality of this one and another one from the same guy got me to re sub sribe. if anyone from verge sees this can you get this guy to make more vids?
