They have plenty of bass if you use the right amp to power them.
do they feel the same as the k612?
I don’t understand why people listen to music with non reference headphones… I want to listen to the music as it was made not with a different EQ lol…
These are great for music, may be not so much for classical.
nice headphones
i buy anything red and black
This is a Q701 and not a k702.
I’ve just bought it. 🤔🤔🤔
i have some white and black ones of amazon
got them at around only $104
Would recommend watching a reviewer with a better understanding of audio equipment then a generic tech reviewer.
AKG: Beats, but not obcenely horrible!!
Markass brownlee
They are really good for gaming
i knew it, this guy sucks at reviewing headphones, dumbest of all reviewer of headphones
K702 is not K7XX… I know you’l find people saying the K7XX are rebranded K702 65th anniversary edition, but they’re not.
These are not reference headphones, they have slightly veiled mids and elevated bass.
Can i share this vidéo in pinterest and share you’r ytb channel?
k702s are the most uncomfortable headphones ever, the clamp has so much pressure and there is no way to remedy it since the clamp is designed that way
Not AKG 702. How can you do a review and not even know which product you’re reviewing?
After two plus years I am looking to replace these as they are falling apart. The comfort has been excellent. The sound, to my ear, has been very good except in the lower register of a male voice. Here I have always gotten some breaking almost like the headset was wireless and lost connection. I returned it twice and got them back with no comment. But the problem remained. Basically, they were simply sending my headset back to me without any kind of repair and without any kind of comment. So, I will be going to a different manufacturer. Likely, I will spend a couple more $ and try Sennheiser. I believe AKG is part of Harmmon which is now owned by Logitech. My take is that they cut corners in a good product to increase profits. The net result is that the product is diminished. And, Logitech does not notice.……
there i literally no difference between k7xx k701 k702 k712
That’s really helpful, thanks very much.
They are K712pros, far from reference but great
Loved that intro!
These are studio reference headphones. Then proceeds to review by plugging them into a phone…
If you would compare theise or actual K702 to lets say direct competition DT990 Pro 250ohm — i would say theise give much better directional soundstage, very important for gamers. On other side, DT990 pros give little more bass, just right ammount, not too much. I would buy K702 for gaming 10/10 times, but for mix and match use, i would maby go with DT990’s.
those arnt 702’s
playing those from your phone output is… let’s say funny. even if they sound loud enough, you need an amp. it will completely change their sound
Why did you write K702? aren’t they based on the K712? I find my 7xx opposite of my 701s at least.
realize this is super old… but the k7xx is NOT a k702. It is actually a Q701 inside.
These are mod.712! Own 702 and 712!
They are Akg 712 but by massdrop
are these for gaming?
headphones only for a short time. they generate an electromagnetic field which has a very bad effect on the work of the mind
So you have reference headphones, but still recommend sony blah blahs?
Great option
Do you know if the loxjie a30 would be powerfull enough to drive them? (A30 is 2x100mW @ 32Ω). Thanks a lot
Watching that now, Marques has truly grown indeed 😂😂. The man himself, is living legend. Peace
