Polaroids went out of the door once everything went digital. This is just a sad attempt for that model to come back into the playing field. This has already failed.
This is another one of those stupid ideas that gets a 50mil valuation but some Valley VC firm but turns out no one actually buys it.
I agree with most comments, it’s kind of pointless, will be used a few times then hidden away in a drawer
a printer is cheaper in my place and a ink is more expensive
future is great 🙂
Polaroid has the same product, except the watermark, why such a hype?
wow, hardware and software just for pretty QR code AR. If you need more product ideas without a future, just ask, I have a list.
I know I’m salty, but how would you ever make money with this?
Kate upton hd magazine pic along with a rick roll troll
cool but not worth $130
The Digit Magazine in India uses the Blippar app to do the same thing with its stories in the magazine. All stories which have a corresponding video are played that way.
Is this the same company that was on All-American Makers or did these people/those people steal the idea?
I can see that working with a wearable AR device.. Maybe
that harry potter thing got me interested!
Unless you’re a spy, not sure why consumers need this.
HP printers have been doing this for years, HP LivePhoto..
This software + hololens = magical
Really liked the graphics on this one
With some kind of VR headset, something like this in the future could be really cool!
A whole new way of Rick Rolling!
Call me crazy, but I think this would be an ingenius way to make print media more interactive. Like imagine a high quality architecture magazine in which people could explore the house by just looking at the pics. Retain the print quality without the need for an obtrusive QR code.
I cant handle the future…

It’s not proprietary.
they did something like this with our yearbooks last year, where if you scanned some of the photos using an app, it would play the video associated with it
That’s a really bad idea.
Novelty. And suckers will suck.
I wish I didn’t know what vocal fry is, I notice it everywhere now and it’s very distracting.
Sort of gimmicky now, but in a Google Glass/AR (and VR too) future, that can change. This is a pretty cool technology and I think it can really take off with use in advertising and marketing.
Another new thing, which is actually quite simple but like all others I didn’t think of…
I know people are having a hard time seeing the point of this, but for me I’m seeing the value in being able to take the work of animation and displays away from the physical realm and into the virtual. Less TV screens needed, and as I mentioned elsewhere personalized content based on the owner of the viewing device.

Oh my god I NEED this… what if you had a wall full of these photos?
I loved the background music
The best tech of 2016
I’m excited .
how to rick roll someone irl
facepalm. if I want to watch video, I’ll just watch a video. the magazine advertising app idea a few years back made more sense
woooooow i want this
LP printer may only cost you 130 , BUT the most important is the “ink” it might cost two LP printer for only 20pieces ? Why not just buy iPad and play photo and video anywhere I want and it’s wifi connectable !
$130 IS ACTUALLY NOT BAD AT ALL. I THOUGHT I WAS GONNA JUMP TO THE THOUSANDS PHEW
My printer has ran out of minutes please help!!!!!!!!
