That’s cool, I’ll wait for the OS X version.
Is there any kind of a resolution limit on it? I have a 4K TV. Could this little thing output my full resolution?
cheap??? cheap is 30usd android usb stick. all over 150usd is expensive.
No audio output to go to a stereo system though /:
can’t you get one with linux preinstall also?
i have an HDTV in my bedroom but its not smart so no wifi or lan to access my NAS movies when i want sometimes.… i was looking for something that through hdmi or usb will allow my tv to see wifi. do you recommend this or there is anything else? no google chromecast is useless for wifi lan NAS.
So it’s a Windows Version of the raspberry
Awesome technology! I will definitely buy one, when they are consumer ready! Imagine where technology will be in 10 more years with this kind of advancements (:
Waiting for gaming compute sticks to replace my desktop.
The Kangaroo is a way better mini PC. Cheaper, ha more memory, more powerful cpu. has more ports, streams and can play some basic games like minecraft
How much of that price tag is just the Windows copy? And is it ONLY available with Windows 10?
So you either buy a $159 “PC” that can stream your XBox games or pay $250 for Xbox One 500GB. “WAY Cheaper” Makes a lot of sense!
This is huge
“Just plug it in”. Is that the HDMI port?
Wow. Over 10 years after Linux did it. Microsoft is so lame
What version of Windows 10 does it run? Is it the full version or Windows 10 IoT Core?
Umm.. That connector looks like mini HDMI, which I’ve never seen any device use before.
It’s Android so it will crash all the time.
Am I the only one who finds the whole “Streaming” trend unsettling?
Just makes it easier for Data Miners to spy on you. The information is either going to marketers who hand it off to mega-conglomerates, or government agencies.
wow this might be better idea,
47thousand views for a product we’ve actually already seen, AND seen clones of.. what’s going on?!
Wouldn’t you be better off buying a second hand PC for $200 that’s got more rom and ram than that and still has hdmi
thats really cool..
I used one as a thin client and it worked crazy well and that was an older version.
I already have Windows 10 on my TV… big fucking deal ‑_-
This is old! Loads of sites reviewed this ages ago!
I was hoping this was going to be a review of the gen 2 with Intel Core M and more RAM.
brilliant
such a good idea
there are others way batter than this, unfortunately its on indiegogo, already funded except one and awaiting for full production process for the backers. just check it out: magicstick pc, gostick pc and computerstick pc
Or you could connect your laptop via hdmi and use a wireless keyboard and mouse
What Monitor is that!
Everybody hates Chris Walter the Virgin
