Hasselblad’s new X1D is the first mirrorless camera with a medium format sensor. It shares many attributes with the full-size H6 system, but it’s compact enough to go out of the studio and into the real world. It will be available later this year for $8,995.

How you doin’
I’ll buy this camera once Hasselblad releases a new version and this one will be around $3000. Not saying it’s a bad price at $9000, I just can’t afford it.
It has just a a little bit bigger FF sensor , not a real medium format sensor and everyone knows it.
The audio in this video is on point. What do you guys use for audio equipment.
I’d rather buy a new car.
it looks very, extremely hipster 😅
what, a hasselblad camera for a reasonable price? Seems like they finally realised that people are no longer dumb enough to pay 20k for their name…
Serious game changer, bringing medium format to a compact design opens up new doors. And 9k for those of you who don’t know hassleblad is about 20k cheaper than their normal cameras.
ITS OVER 9000! (after taxes)
so beautiful
i cant afford this but i love to have this still i am happy with canon 6D and sigma lenses
thank,but i think ill take a RED
lame. why not just pay for a leica. Their name is much more hipster anyway 🙂
pay 9000$ and it comes with 2 SD card slots and no CF… nicely done (!)
People keep saying “Hipster Camera” in the Comments. I suspect that the word is much older than them; indeed it was probably out of date before their birth.
Do they understand it means: pretentious, overly trendy or effete ?
Perhaps they can only afford to share their knowledge, to be a Hipster, and not to buy the Camera. Why did they visit here, to be a Hipster (seems hypocritical).
It should have had a 60–80mp CCD sensor with in body stabilization. They only use cmos because its CHEAPER than SUPERIOR CCD sensors.
Nice!!
Every thing is expensive!
Every thing is expensive!
omg take my kidney(s)! I effing want this
this would be trurly amazing camera with a possibility to mount some third party glass, like Canon’s TS‑E lineup
Correct me if I am wrong but I believe phase one had medium format mirrorless first
This camera is for ad agencies. When Apple wants a photo of an iPhone done for their promotions, they’ll use something like this to get all the detail. It’s not for you, so stop complainin 😉
Is there any image stabilization in camera body or lens??? I would think stabilization can be truly beneficial for a sensor of this size. Unless this camera is strictly tethered for tripod use.
Awesome!!
Content and composition over image quality any day.
best of mirrorless!
Nice one
How does Leica M10 compare to this? Which had better value?
the lenses sux! if they made them like the canon 85 1.2 but for higher res. it would be a sweet deal..now not so much
“X1D” Very original name, haven’t heard anything like it.
Wow!!!!!!!
It’s a very expensive camera if you shoot Instagram models for free or senior photo crap. (You tell them you shoot with hassleblad and charge $100. They will probably want Nikon or canon) if you make a living out of it, $10,000–50,000 investment is not bad at all. Use your brain and think about work trucks and tools people buy.
Similar Size to Rebel? LOL its much Slimmer dude
Only 9k? I expected it would be something a little more higher.
who knew this would be the last Hasselblad befoe they sold the company to Dji
it’s far better than canon and nikon, beast in camera’s
Hasselblad has better image quality but GFX has better lenses
mirrorless ewww
As a pro photographer…let me tell you that this camera is not worth what it cost($10,000.00+tax for body only).Unless you are super rich and money is not an issue for you.You are paying for the name “Hasselblad”.Leica and now this small enough camera from Hasselblad are basically Rich people’s vacation travel camera. Its decent at best. Eventho it has medium format sensor.…i’ll guarantee you that full frame cameras like canon 5d mark IV and Canon eos 1D X mark II will give you much better stills and videos.Like i said..Hesselblad X1D and Leica M10 are rich people’s pocket travel camera. if you have the money then buy it but not for Pro jobs.Lot of pro photographers also likes to own Leica for nostalgia.
Hasalblad????
What a professional video, so many sample shots, purchase decision made easy.
why did y’all shoot a video of a hasselblad in the worst lighting possible?
Camera review, without sample images from camera — dumbest things on youtube
Bahot costly h I can’t afford
But I usually loved one
Hazzelblade
worst camera ever.. ovverrated
Hassleblad,motto: cameras that flex
