Google’s VR-ready phones don’t come out until later this year, but Android N gives us a taste of what it’s like to use a Daydream headset and controller.

I don’t think we are anything NEAR what things are on pc like the vive. The fact of the matter is the technology isn’t quite small enough yet.
DayDream! this is why I’m holding out buying a new phone.
So you won’t be able to use daydream on the Nexus 6p?
It would be interesting to see how the VR products do in day to day lives.
Some one subscibe to me i have 0🙁
I don’t know. I think I like Google Carboard better though…
👍👍👍👍👍
I see the future !! Designers, Fashion .. !! Wow what a nice time to live in !!
Rip my 6p
Last time I was this early, Miss Colombia won the Miss Universe pageant.
С Русского по Лайку!
my 6P 🤢😭 RIP
Does the controller also has to be a Nexus 6P or 5X or any phone.
rip i have i nexus 5x
She is so tired of covering vr lol
daydream will have positional tracking though… the same way the “controller” can positionally track your hand movement.
Wii remote?
ahahhahaahhahahhah
What happened to the angry face? 😂
2:40
Looks like that 6P has survived a few drops
Taping a piece of paper on top? Nice on going low budget Google
I clicked on this video to see her expression change in the end. Disappointed.
Great video👌🏼😄
I don’t see the angry face and I think she does a good job at verge.
They probably should have used an actual artist, from what I see in the video it looks like there is just a bunch of squiggly lines.
Just use Google Tango for Room Tracking and DayDream will be amazing VR Platform
ACTUALLY
Keep that phone near your face and enjoy your cancer, idiots. Advice: Go outside, enjoy the fresh air that God gave you, smh
Can’t wait for Daydream, Huawei (hopefully) high- end Nexus, and Google Home. Love it!
This with Tango tracking sensors could be a game changer! Without real motion tracking it seems kind of half backed to me.
Wow,they really copied the apple tv’s interface there, even down to the parallax effect.
I just bought the iphone!
Well done review, thanks
Great content! Please post the music that play alongside all the video coz it is simply awesome!
Actually if you combine something like project Tango with this technology you could have a similar experience with the Vive
To me it sadly is disappointing.
First, yeah, the tracking not being anywhere close to what the Vive can do, yes, to be expected in a way, but not less limiting because of that. Why not combining this with tango, then it could allow so much more.
Then: Why does it only come with one motion controller?
Then: Why does the motion controller not have an analogue stick and at least 2–3 action buttons and trigger and side button?
As it is, this remote is again very limiting in what types of games it can be used for and that it only comes with one automatically means no two hands using interactions.
So yeah, sorry, but if they only improve this so incrementally in so tiny steps each year, that’s kinda lame.
Besides those issues, i’m also not convinced at all Google will get the store part right this time where more app developers can actually make proper money with their VR content for this platform.
Right now for cardboard there is not even any way to submit them to a VR specific store front intentionally.
I think that’s kinda…lame
#datcleavage
she is cuuuuuuuute
Wish it could support 2015 flagships but I highly doubt it ;-;
Good news!
Which app se uses to make her phone a controler
