Aboard the Inter­na­tion­al Space Sta­tion, Expe­di­tion 48 Flight Engi­neer Takuya Onishi of the Japan Aero­space Explo­ration Agency dis­cussed life and work aboard the orbital out­post dur­ing an in-flight event Aug. 30 with Japan­ese stu­dents attend­ing the Space Kids Plat­form 2016 forum at sev­er­al loca­tions in Japan. Onishi is near­ing the halfway mark of his four-month mis­sion on the sta­tion, with his return to Earth sched­uled for Oct. 30.
