No phone jack on iphones wont get my business
Android Authority: If you think your Note 7 is safe it is safe. Disregard all those engineers and safety experts.
The recall doesn’t even make this better, because if they don’t recall Samsung is doomed.
Can anyone tell me if the C.P.S.C. approved phones are brand new manufactured phones or just refurbished phones from first month launch sales?
I was going to keep mine which was working/charging fine. Despite being an iPhone guy, I really liked it and was sold on Samsung innovation. Then when the recall was upped with FAA putting out its restrictions, I had no choice but to return it. I fly on a weekly basis and just couldn’t deal with this. I had to switch back to iPhone. To be honest this dilemma cost me a ton of money. I bought an S7 edge in May and couldn’t use it due to the inability to type efficiently with the edges. I was excited by the less defined edges of the note 7 among other things and really loved it. Then this happened. Since I bought the Edge off contract from Best Buy I traded in the edge and an iPad Air 2 to reduce cost of Note 7. Best Buy gave me $290 for the edge that was pristine and unused with all accessories. I paid $900 for the edge with tax and got $290!! Now that I had to return the note all I get is a lousy Best Buy gift card for $290 along with $200 for the $500 iPad and of course the pain of the fact that I lost a tablet in this whole thing as well. The guy should apologize. This is BS!! And did I mention how much Best Buy sucks! They wouldn’t even give me the $25 inconvenience fee!!!!!!!!
I found this article for you:

Samsung is finally returning new issue-free Note 7 to users. it began in South Korea today. The new Note 7 will have green battery bar NOT white. Samsung did this in order to distinguish the previous note 7 that had battery problems. Check this link and use google translator it’s in korean: http://m.media.daum.net/m/media/digital/newsview/20160919134503223
Moto all the way
I exchanged my note 7 yesterday at Arundel Mall in Baltimore and the experience was very pleasant. The rep was very informative and the process was hassle free. I was a bit worried about having to travel back home with the recalled edition since I purchased my phone in the VI and I am here on vacation. The rep pulled up my account on his tablet and verified that I had bought my phone at ATT and not an authorised dealer and was therefore able to assist me with the exchange. He helped me make sure I had transferred all my information to the new phone and backed up any necessary files. After he and I were satisfied this was done he assisted me to factory reset my phone. The phone I recieved however, did not have the black circle nor the S sign I had read about on the internet as signs that the phone was the approved model. I have since checked my MEI number on the Samsung website and it says my phone is a replacement phone and not a recall. As I will be travelling soon the rep informed me that I can show my receipts as prove that I did exchange my phone.

Can’t you just replace the battery with another that doesn’t explode
so what if when you bought your phone you never planned on taking it back and
you no longer have the box and most contents in the Box are they going to refuse to exchange if all that I bring in is the actual handset itself
will the new batteries charge to 60% or 100%
This one goes out to the phone I love
This one goes out to the phone I left behind
FIRE! FIRE! FIRE! FIRE!
This is what happens when you skip the Note 6 😂😂
NOTE 7 FTW!
The flagship Galaxy Note 7 could be the worst handset that Samsung designed, in terms of problems. After having serious issues with battery, which caused the device to catch fire while on charge, the new safe variant seems to have problems of its own.
Some customers in South Korea who have participated in the exchange program are now reporting that the new phone is overheating and losing battery power as it is being charged. Thankfully there are no reports of explosions, but if the phone is overheating, it is only a matter of time before something like that happens. We are still waiting to see if the issue affects only some phones or all new Galaxy Note 7 units.
this is destroying my complete confidence in Samsung I have every note they have ever made today they all go into the trash I have a Samsung refrigerator I may even throw it out TV and all
and how do you make guesses with people’s lives
I’m on a Xperia M right now.
And I charged my phone once accidently under my pillow while sleeping (It felt there due to movement.)
And it got insanly hot, I could barley touch it. And it still works fine, so why would a Samsung 7 Note (That is 5 years upfront in technology compared to my Xperia M) be a real danger?
Like people saying that cars and houses catch fire due to a phone. If I was a firefighter I’ld laughed at them.
They’re safe as hell. Maybe they can get a bit hot, but if the old Xperia M can reach burning temperatures, why would the Samsung doesn’t?
The point of this:
All you guys switching to apple due to ‘fire risk’, remember: Your house has like a thousand times more chance to set up in flames due to a gas leak or a electrical error o.o
is this not a cheap blackmail
you forgot the s7 and s7 edge are exploding too
First we need to spend 700–800 $ on a mobile , Then we need to monitor „„„„„ Ha Ha. I suggest buy a new product only after 6 months of launch
New Samsung galaxy note 7!!
Used by ISIS worldwide (use to picture and uses it to bomb teritories)
Scary to think tha the best phone currently available is a time bomb…
Apple lover
hollow sir I like your review and your review is great.I also agree with you about the note 7. how can a big company like samsung do a bad mistake when they Don.t even know there battery start to explode when charging. myself I have the Samsung galaxy s6 egde plus and I haven.t got any problem of my battary explode when charging infact I had the phone for nearly a year now and the Haven’t been any problem of battery ever exploded. I was going to buy the note 7 because phone looks Beatiuful and I love the design on the note 7 to. Now I am a little bit worried with the battary problem of exploding when charging and it’s make me mad to and now I think I will not buy the note 7 yet. an till they sort out the battery problem first.a big campany like samsung they should fill a shame on there selves
to me I would say they shouldn’t relase the note 7 at the first place come on samsung sort out your battery problem
Samsung said in a statement that the new note 7 mobile will finally arrive in late October 2016 and will be delivered with the following accessories like an apology:
1) Protecting glasses
2) Fire Gloves
3) Fire extinguisher
4) Charging pan for nightstand
5) Travel Smoke Alarm
Man it looks like Samsung fucked up this year?
Well Apple, you win
Lolzzzz I used to work at Samsung electronics America I can see why the note 7 is catching fire. They don’t ever give raises and they expect you to live at work & not go home until the work is done! Wtf I have a life unlike you Samsung!! They deserved to be sued by a person who has a note 7 that has caught fire!
bye bye note 7…
Apple are the worst for pricing, But all these companies charge margins beyond belief!
These phones are made in the dead cheapest possible manor by well underpaid staff in shitty conditions in far away countries using extremely cheap materials, And you pay a small fortune for each one.
Respect for Samsung 🙂 iPhone ?
They should use the same material they use to make passports to make these things. Then, they’d be indestructible.
Thank God I crumpled it up
When will the note 7 be available in the USA again
Why am I watching this, I don’t even have a note 7
can i buy a note 7 in india is it safe for me or buy another
even though I have the s7 edge. I would have chosen the note 7 if it were still available. It’s so damn pretty
I love Note 7
I heard that all Note 7s in China are never recalled? Is it true, and why?
