damn thats some next gen stuff right
I kind of like the robots.
lg or cTos?
What happened to the curved LG oled?
What? Now the robot ordered us to ‘move to the side’?
Everything connected will spy and listen to everything you do. I’d rather have items that do not have networking.
Seems like we’re just making things that are barely helpful and cost a lot
Everything else was okay…until I saw that razor thin TV!
Feels like the future
Well most of this is cancer… the TV is aight but It’s nothing new or unexpected, and they aren’t the only ones doing it.
Why not ship all that HDR standards in a TV, with a higher cost option instead of by standard option. So customers wouldn’t care about the support of standards in their content anymore?
These car safety systems seem to look more like MASSIVE PRIVACY MONITORS than a help.
If stupid people are driving cars when drunk and exhausted, why do all the drivers need to be monitored!
I hate it when people think they are incapable of doing things the “old” way.
LG Smart TVs previously tracked everything you did, read all of your USB devices, and sent a list of all channels watched to a server, even after people opted out. I wouldn’t trust LG with my TV, let alone devices that require that much intrusion.
Ditto
Alexa’s CEO with adhesive tape on the cheek to handle mic.. so innovative !
Useless BS !
Deep thinq consumer relations first, then try to sell in TR.
Soon there won’t be anymore landscaping jobs. Cool tv tho!
Web connected fridges pose way more problems than they solve.
Silly idea, I hope it’s a fad which will die quickly.
Did anyone notice they used the car from I, Robot when they talked about autonomous car tech?
I’m a fan of Internet of Things but they didn’t seem to touch on the security on these devices now that they’re gonna be all hooked up to the Internet. creepy.
Every bloody company is getting into the development of driverless cars. What matters is the quality of this fuctionality. Let me know when you get to level 4
But who cares… for real???
I’m gonna invent something that doesn’t require you to have tape on your face
lies lies lies!!!!bullshit! where is all the rest ?!?
what about all the stuff that was not on the main stage?!? the stuff on the floor?!? lies lies lies!
this is not everything at CES 2017 more like less then 10%!!!!!!
Just add an internet connection to everything … #innovation
The irony of all these technological advancement is.…we are making smarter appliances and turns the end consumers dumb and lazy.
Basically CTOS 2.0 from watch dogs 2!!!
wow wonder comes true…
Good to know WebOS is still alive.
Am I the only person that thinks the whole “everything must be super thin” is overrated? I mean I love a thin TV, but there seems to be this race to make everything using less matter. Things are pretty thin, and pretty light now, do we really need to keep pushing that envelope, or can we progress with something else?
“LG .….…. Do your bit to make Skynet aware”
Can someone perform a bend test on the 2.57 mm tv?
Such a big company producing smart things, and tape mic’s to the side of their faces..
To all those critics who feel that it is a hype then don’t watch and read such stuff. Some products are good, some are not worth the price. But no one is forcing you to buy any company’s products…Yeah, some things may be a hype..But it is better to live in a generation hyped by new technology than generation of hippies..
finally fridge and music
DeepLinkQ seems like the G‑force movie villain company thing.
love LG … I always try to buy LG if possible… Rocking my LgV20 💣
LG car owner: Hello, I can’t come today.
Y: Why? What happened?
LG car owner: My car is bootlooping.
Oh, that’s what happened to jibo. Right?4:43
remember the movie G‑Force?
We already own LG — super UHD TV , charcoal lightwave oven, smart washing machine, Smart 472 Lt refrigerator, blu ray player, nexus 5, Lg ips led monitor and water purifier. ( Only my air condition is from Mitsubishi) I would really want all these LG appliances to talk with each other through internet of things.
EVERYBODY IS VERY EXCITED
what was that ?
Nilay Patel made a comment that the Technics SL1200-GAE turntable is expensive.
Yes, it’s $4000, but it’s handmade in Japan. It’s BOM is higher than some turntables double or triple the price.
Technics makes a loss on every SL-1200GAE sold. BTW, the 300-odd units allocated to Japan sold out in 30 minutes
So yes, it’s expensive, but superbly built and totally worth it, if vinyl playback is important to you, and is expertly handmade in Japan unlike most consumer electronics out there.
not to mention airport jobs lost
So at CES compare to LG glamour Sony, Sharp, Panasonic are dead pretty much?!
advanced WiFi connectivity is good
